“We've had no approach or bid for Lukas,“ said Clouting.

“At this stage * as the chairman has said * we are looking to bring players in rather than seeing them go out. All our efforts are concentrated on the forthcoming season which starts on Saturday against Leicester and should be a big occasion for the city.“

nor have we had a bid from Hoffman...

we have also got a meeting with the council

Our strategy is to invest in youth and then grow with them

We will be transparent throughtout our tenurship

King is staying

If the big 3 dont sign new contracts, we have a plan B

We want the squad to be together early, and our ducks are in a row

We are debt free

We are going to sign a franchise player

Hoping to have someone in this week

SISU have invested 20 million of their own money

Club is not for sale

yadda yadda.........

Saturday is "a big day for the city" steady on.

I would say a good 300,000 of it won't bat an eyelid

Still pleased to have the reassurance that Juke is going nowhere, certainly put my mind at ease look forward to enjoying seeing him throughout the whole season.

Think that should have read as 'Still, pleased to have the reassurance that Juke is going nowhere, certainly put my mind at ease look forward to enjoying seeing him throughout the whole season and I wish him well at his new club.'

They are a bit late bringing somebody in. They will come in, get given a shirt and get told to go and play against Leicester.

It will be like playing a ringer at a Sunday League game, everybody will have to keep asking "Whats your name again mate?"

Not sure all our players don't do that to each other at the moment anyway.

"Saturday is a big day for the City" - true, its the start of City's promotion push having invested in the team, brought together some top players and its going to be an exciting and ultimately successful season for City so NoClout was right, just a shame he was talking about Leicester City and not Coventry City.
