Which is how we are now run, we don't really know exactly what The budget is £2.5mill seems to be the popular figure. It is the way to be frustrating as it is but in Mowbray and Venus we now have proper people in charge of it and not that Geordie idiot

What makes you think that?? 

"Leeds had wanted the club to cover the cost of paying up his two-year contract, where he’s understood to be earning three to four times more than the average City player, with the player looking for a decent settlement on the remainder of his deal.

That put Coventry out of the running and it appears that Swindon have now stolen a march on the Sky Blues."

Sounds like he was on about 8K per week, over 2 years that's nearly 1M. I would guess it has cost more that a few thousand to settle with him.

Basically we couldn't afford it. Shame as I'd have quite liked him here.

Well he could if he had sold Maddison, fleck, Johnson and anyone else to raise the money.

Swindon have sold all their best ayers and raised around £6 million. I suspect given that option Mowbray would stay with what he has.

Some real screechy ignorant idiots on here.

Swindon offloaded Byrne (who Spurs had 50% sell on clause reportedly) and Michael Smith yesterday. They also lost two of their best players in the summer. I think they could struggle this season and could financially be in trouble.
