Serious question...

Lets say the worst happens and SISU are still here next season..Season ticket sales will drop dramatically as will revenue from the league..

Following on from taking out a loan based on next years season ticket sales, wont this putus bang in trouble next season and mean administration is more liekly when we are in League One, resulting in probabily relegation to League Two ?

I think if Sisu are still here next year then it won't be for long, as you say administration will not be far behind.

I for one will not be renewing next year if their still here, regardless of what division were in.

I can put up with paying to watch third tier football, what I cant accept is giving my money to Sisu.

They have taken out a loan based on you renewing, and when you dont, which makes complete sense, they will be in the mire !

Is it proven that they have taken this loan ,i have heard this but i don't think i've seen it in an article anywhere ,regardless Sisu will not get any of my dosh ,borough or leamington for me iif they're still here.

I heard they'd taken a loan against the season tickets already sold for 11/12 ie. the direct debits, but nothing more than that. Where did you see this?

Think I'll support spalding next year and the ground/field is only 5 mins away so save on my direct debit.

In all honesty though lads a lot who say they won't re-new their season ticket will re-new not their fault but thats football it get's under you skin and makes you passionate about it thats just the way it is.
As for sisu they will more than likely already be setting out the contingency plan for what happens should we get relegated, it is probably not far from being set in motion IE: January transfer window, we may not like them but these are ruthless business people who have and always have had their own interest's as the most important thing in their ownership of OUR club so they will know already what they are going to do, unfortunatly we do not and we only second guess all the time.

Think prices will be the same ,when you think of it they're about 3rd division level now ,in fact i've thought they were too low in terms of producing income for team strenghening ,please don't shoot me down .

The loan is against this years sales, not next years, as I dont think the extra 200 pounds for next years sales would have made that much difference.

I thought about next season season tickets on the way home last night from Peterborough. I was saying that surely someone at city must realize the're going to be lucky if they get half the sales they've got this season with the goings on so why not go for something like £100 season ticket in the Telegraph stand, which would get behind our home end filled and generate some income, but I just know when I look next season in League 1 they'll still be asking £300-£400. Such a shame, idiots.

I won't go and watch Coventry in league 1 under SISU, if we are under new ownership then I will wait till see how we are shaping up before I make a choice.

I do not give SISU any money. I only go to away games. I have a 4 hour journey just to get to Cov so I can get on a coach with the lads (and a few lassies) Much better crack and starves my club of my cash, but I can live with that. Not done a home game for ages now.

If we go down I suggest not buying a season ticket if the leaches still own us. Spend your hard earned cash on going to away games. Being able to stand and go mental when scoring will be a great new experience to many. If on limited funds then pick and choose games. The only problem is that when hooked on away games the home games will seem shite

I agree , i've been to 4 away games this season and my only home game was the opening day to Leicester. Every away game (although losses) were a fantastic time and i'll remember them for years to come.

I just thought that it would be nice to actually be able to afford a season ticket aswell as an away game every month.

Personally next seaon i'll try and hit one away game a month, and stay away form the home stuff until the shit storm has passed

What is worrying about the SBT estimates of between 3000 and 7000 potential gates for the 3rd Division for CCFC is the fact that when clubs like Norwich, Leeds, Fester, Southampton etc went down gates soared to 20,000 plus in that league and were maintained at that level when promoted.

Why will CCFC be so dramatically different ???

As well as reduced season ticket sales, there would also be a major drop in income in Div 1 from away supporter sales. Selling 5000+ tickets when Leicester, West Ham, Leeds come visiting, and 2000+ for quite a few other Championship teams is just not going to happen in Div 1. It all adds up to a much worse financial position - and yet more cost-cutting if SISU are still here.
If that is the scenario, I'm not sure if I will be able to persuade myself to renew my season ticket again - how much pain can we all take?
