Next two games Derby away and Rotherham at home.
got to try and get max points from two relegation rivals and would put us around mid table going into xmas and a nice cushion from the bottom three

there are some tough fixtures for those around us midweek as well so you would expect 3 points to increase the gap between us and at least some of them.
Another tough game though as they all are in this league.

No easy games and on paper two wins certainly possible. And although I’m quite optimistic for that I think I would settle for a win and a draw.

Got to get at least 4 points from these two, anything less will be a bit disappointing.

Not losing would be ok. But hopefully confidence should be high, so 4 points should be an expectation

Would be very happy with four points, important not to drop points against these types of teams who will be in the mix come end of season, if we were to get 6points I'd be ecstatic.

Got five winnable games in a row but as we have seen all games in this division are tough with teams taking points where we think they won’t including us. I’d take three wins from the five if offered.

I’d be happy with a draw at Derby and beating Rotherham.

If we want to be half way by half way - 12th after 23 games - we probably need 4 wins aand 5 draws in the remaining 9 games. Of those games only Millwall away on 2nd Jan looks really tough, it is just that at this level the odds are always against such a long unbeaten run.

We have to go for the win against both teams if we want to pull clear of them (especially since we lost to Forest and should have at least got a point). Was watching Derby against Wycombe and they look very ordinary. It's a club in some turmoil as their fans want Rooney out as manager. Rotherham will prove tougher to beat as they've got some decent results recently and seem to have a psychological edge over us based on our matches last season. Hope Godden is back for Rotherham.

The Derby game is a not lose one, if possible - as want to keep the gap. 3 points minimum from the 2 games for me. Nice to keep the unbeaten run going too, for confidence.

Be nice to get something but let's not beat ourselves up as if they're six pointers or cup finals, the next 8 games are all pretty much bottom half sides and on paper, whilst we won't win them all a haul of 12 to 16 points is achievable and should give us some clear breathing space before a tough February.

If I was to win one and draw one I'd rather beat Rotherham

Of the 8 Dec games if we could get way with losing 2 at most and winning at least half it'd make a big difference as to where we enter the new year in terms of league position. Not just because we'll have the points but we'll have taken them off teams we're likely to be around at the business end of the season.

I see Robins has set a target of 20 pts from 20 games by Christmas, I just did a calculator and came up with these results
Derby-W =3
Rovrum-D =1
Luton-D =1
Wycombe-W =3
Hudds-D =1
Sheff Weds-W =3

I suppose a couple could be loses so anywhere between 10-12 points being fair so easily getting to 20 by half way, giving us 13th place in the table at New Year. I'll be happy with that.

Only a minimum of 4 points is acceptable. 6 should be taken really.

lol - 2 weeks ago 555555 was permanently engaged
now we are going to be mid table at xmas, and not lose any of the next 8

Everybody will be looking at us as an easy 3 points, so lets be realistic
We are not going down, but nor are we going to challenge the play offs

12 points from the next 9 games would be an excellent first half of the season, anything else would be a bonus

Rotherham/Luton/Huddersfield/Stoke hone games we would need 7 points
Derby/Wycombe/Sheff wed/Preston/Millwall Away games we would need 5 points

while we may see them as 9 winnable games, so will the opposition, so win 3 draw 3 lose 3 would be a solid return
