You might if it would help you make more money out of the place for the next few years. Especially if you were thinking about buying it somewhere down the line.Mental that we're paying big money for facilities like turnstiles.
I wouldn't pay my landlord for a new door because it's too old.

It’s an ease of use investment for consumers. In theory it could improve the experience of going to games (less queues etc).I do not see how its making us more money?

I would imagine though it’s digital proof and in the future majority of ST holders will be expected to have a digital ticket, reducing costs for production and admin. So not making money but probably saving. I would like to think there’s been some sort of cost analysis that make it worthwhile.
Agreed. I would like to think there would be exemptions.Could prove interesting for anyone without the hardware to do that

So we pay for the pitch, lighting, turn styles etc.The arena
In the video? He’s suggesting that’s no option going forward

All tickets for Edgbaston are similar but you have to access them through their dog shit app which doesn't work properly if you can't get signal, which you can't when there's thousands of people at Edgbaston. But despite that they seem to get everyone in without much hassle.I’m not against it but imagine some of our older generation of fans may struggle. I share my partner’s ST with my cousin and am worried this could cause issues sharing it.
Should the club get promotion into the premier league then digital tickets will be aNo I’m replying to the guy who said it’s a step towards total ticketless turnstiles

What’s the craic with the ground medium to long term.
Nothing else I can think of. The rest is good right now.
Don't even bother.Cheers Pete. So no chance of getting a beer at half time for next season still then?
concourse to other areas. We are also bringing new activities to the outside Activity
Area.
We have taken on more Matchday Supporter Liaison Officers who will be taking on more
responsibility on a matchday and will be available in different locations of the Arena.
The Arena have plans to bring in a wider variety of food and drink options in the
concourse.
We will continue with our half-time entertainment of Kick it for a Ticket, and other
activities at half-time, including competitions/quizzes, former players and highlighting
community work.
We will continue our work to improve the overall experience, which has come on leaps
and bounds over the last few years.
12. What is the current capacity at the CBS? (Sky Blue Talk)
The ‘sell-out’ capacity varies depending on multiple factors such as segregation
required and lounge configuration (and also booking deadlines in certain lounges), plus
also ‘seat-kills’ required for televised fixtures.
13. Can the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) minutes be shared with the Supporters Forum?
(Sky Blue Talk)
This is a question which can be asked, however these are Coventry City Council ran
meetings with multiple agencies and several topics discussed, some of which are
confidential and are not related to CCFC.
Additional Questions for the Supporters Forum Meeting on the 24th July 2025
1. 2. 3. It is 20 years on from the installation of the remembrance bricks at the stadium, and
since we have sadly lost a number of supporters. Is there a plan to do something similar
again? Either inside or outside the stadium? If not, could this be explored? (Coundon
Supporters Club)
There are no plans currently for additional Wall of Fames at the Arena, though these
comments are noted.
Road closures – If these are to continue this season, are there plans to keep bars in the
fan village open after the game? They were kept open as a trial last season, and it
seemed to be popular? (Coundon Supporters Club)
Yes it will be open post-match and will be communicated ahead of the first game.
Match day Shuttle Buses – Frequency, Capacity & Routing – With no direct high-capacity
rail service expected in the near future, fans are relying on the shuttle buses from
Coventry Train Station. Can the following be taken into consideration:
- Improve the shuttle frequency (e.g. moving from every 30 minutes to 15 and 45 past the
hour) to better align with train arrivals existing Arena train.4. - Monitor and manage capacity more effectively – are drivers counting passengers to
prevent overcrowding?
- Consider running separate buses from Coventry Train Station and White Street Car
Park, rather than combining both stops, to improve flow? (Proud Sky Blues)
Following a successful trial, the Shuttle Bus will operate through the 25/26 season. This
will be subsidised by the Club, with a small ticket cost to supporters. The existing route
will continue as it is, as separate routes would increase costs – as previously, the service
and feedback will be monitored.
Payment will be as supporters embark, which will support capacity management on the
service.
Access to JSB Events for Non Coventry Residents
- Young JSB fans living outside City boundary face clashes with JSB events due to
different school term dates. Is there any possibility to schedule event dates where
both schools in Coventry and those outside the City perimeter are not in term.
(understand the priority will be Coventry Schools) – (Proud Sky Blues)
Due to fixtures, training requirements, stadium availability and varying school holidays,
the Club has always faced challenges in scheduling such events. We will always try to
identify a date that will be suitable for as many fans as possible, but this may not always
Big discussion and billy bell was great putting his opinion acrossCheers Pete. Disappointing about the players on the way onto the stadium, that seemed really popular with the kids
Have they actually changed the floodlights? Doesn’t seem to be any change to me, not that I particularly want a pre match light show
Gonna have to adapt and do it after, like Norwich or whoever it was, not necessarily by dictum though as I don't know their regimen.Big discussion and billy bell was great putting his opinion across
The players are staying together jn a hotel before home games again this season
Can’t argue with home form since they changed it
King agreed with a lot but wants to be supportive of the head coach and as I say you can’t argue really
Nobody will actually say it but another reason for the players not stopping is the amount of people getting items signed and then putting them on eBayCheers Pete. Disappointing about the players on the way onto the stadium, that seemed really popular with the kids

This isn’t a bad shout. Maybe they could find a way to do something affordable for JSBs.I believe thr club are looking at ways to sell signed items in store in order to ensure that money goes back into the club this way.
As I say Billy and Doug king were excellent discussing the merits respectfullyThis isn’t a bad shout. Maybe they could find a way to do something affordable for JSBs.
I’m an ice hockey fan and my NHL team sell off pretty much everything. Match pucks, jerseys, training kit, and all sorts of signed memorabilia. Some of it does for big money. For the more in demand stuff it’s only available to season seat members.
