Whats everyones predictions on our next six games starting Saturday

Oxford v Coventry W
Coventry v Stoke W
Derby v Coventry D
Coventry v Sunderland D
Shef Utd v Coventry L
Coventry v Burnley D

for me it 9 points from the next six which given half of these games are against teams above us should be enough to keep us around the top six for our final run in

When you look at it like this, I think there’s too much for us to do to make the play offs. Say we need 10 points from each block of 6 to give ourselves a chance, I really cannot see 10 points from that.

Even 2 wins from the next 3 leaves us needed a win against a top 4 team. No chance unfortunately.

As much as the next 3 are all winnable that would make it what, 11 wins from 12?
Runs like that don't happen too often so the liklihood is we'll drop points somewhere.

If we can still be in the shake up going into April that would be a fantastic achievement.

Pretty much my prediction apart from switching results between Derby & Oxford.

Minimum of 9 points needed to stay in touch. The winning run is unlikely to continue. It not going to be a given like some are overly confident about.

It doesn't mean 10 points from 2 blocks of 6 though, it's 20 points from 12 games we need. the second block of 6 from your post, includes Portsmouth, Hull, Plymouth, Luton. The other 2, WBA and Middlesboro we also have an excellent chance of beating as they are both at home.
So to say "no chance unfortunately" is your opinion only.

All this ‘predicting we’ll win football matches’ talk does not sit comfortably with me.

If we can put out the same starting XI from Preston for the next three games I don't see why we can't keep rolling as we have been.

We controlled the game really well and on another day we put away at least one of the chances we missed in the second half.

Lose Dovin, MVE, Thomas or Kitching and I'll feel different. Midfield is sorted now with Sheaf coming back. Enough cover up top.

You think we'll lose to Oxford and Derby but go unbeaten vs 3 of the top 4? I hope you aren't a gambling man.

It seems to me that some on here think that a team that has not fallen out of the top 4 of the last 12 games form table is suddenly for no reason going to crash and burn in the next 12 games against mainly lower table opposition.
Anything could happen but why are people expecting it?

I've got very similar, perhaps losing to Burnley but beating Derby. I think we'll get between 7 and 10 points. So long as we can pick form back up after that tricky group of 3 we stay well in the mix.

There's definitely a chance we can pick up 1 win across Sunderland, Sheff Utd and Burnley. I haven't personally got us doing so and i do still have a sneaking suspicion we'll fall just short of the top 6 eventually. However, current form suggests we are one of the favourites to make it.

Definitely, I think most other challengers will fear us the most and Lampard / the squad will be very disappointed to not make it now.

I think we have 0 chance though.

Anyone who has watched the City for any considerable length of time, has seen us lose to teams way below us in the league, time and time again.

The teams struggling at the bottom, can quite often be the hardest games to come, this time of year.

Yeh certainly think we can compete. Sheffield United is the hardest one what with it being away but i don't think we should be worried about anyone with Leeds now out the way.

I agree. This next six are the hardest group we have. If we can pick up a draw again either Burnley or Shefield and win against the lower teams our run in is in our own hands and should get us in the top six or keep us their. Dont forget a lot of the clubs around us also play each other so they will also be dropping points

Really looking forward to the Sunderland game. It should be a full house and a great atmosphere. They are not invincible.

First 4 games win but maybe one of them a draw. Sheffield United a defeat and Burnley a draw unless Wright is up to speed by then. Don't need him fully match fit but need him getting into the area to make the most of the crosses going in.

So minimum 11 points.

They are not very good presently 4 points from their last 4 games including losing to Hull at home last game where they picked up a couple of hamstring injuries to important players. Their win was at home to Luton. They even drew at home to Plymouth at the end of last month.
