This dropped from the EFL today - not sure if everyone is planning summer holidays yet ...

The EFL can confirm the key dates across the League and its competitions for the 2021/22 campaign, with the season set to get underway across the Sky Bet Championship, on the weekend of 7 August 2021.
  • Start Date – Saturday 7 August 2021 (with a live television game likely on Friday 6 August)
  • Carabao Cup Round One – w/c 9 August 2021
  • Carabao Cup Final – Sunday 27 February 2022
  • Regular Season Final Day of the Championship – Weekend of 7/8 May 2022
  • Championship Play-Off Final – Sunday 29 May 2022
I've removed Checkatrade/Papa John's Trophy info in the hope that we won't be in it!

If we stay up and the Ricoh is confirmed what's the bet that we get the biggest relegated team at home first game of the season? Would be perfect for the Sky narrative.

Newcastle or West Brom at home on the Friday night - full house, great atmopshere. Or Accrington.

With the ricoh news should be official about season tickets or continuation of memberships re reduced capacity, I'm assuming reduced numbers but set higher than numbers of this season.

even the May 17 end of lockdown is allowing around 25% capaciry
the current rules projection for june is no limit

so even being pesemistic, we should be allowed 8k in, but hopefully many more

Hopefully this will be a big boost for the team to kick on and ensure we are still in the Championship when we kick off next season,

Selling more memberships or season tickets the playing budget should be bigger I'm hoping.
