You can check the odds here:

An internal appointment seems the early favourite. Your thoughts?

Who is there internal though?

There is Steve Harrison, Andy Thorn or Oggy!

I like the way Sky Bet have Andy Gray at 50/1!

There is no one internally that could do any better a job than Boothroyd imo.

Di Matteo's odds have been shortened drastically. Do the bookies know something we don't?

Wonder why Andy Thorn is so much of a favourite?? When was the last time a Chief Scout went on to manage a football club??? (theres one for all you statatitions (is that spelt right??) out there!!!) (and if anyone does find the answer i wouldnt mind knowing!!)

Considering he has been put in charge of picking the team, and Harrison has been put in charge of tactics etc!!

Either way, Di Matteo is my favorite on the lists going round, and was the name I said when I first found out about Boothroyd going, so if it happens, ill be gutted as the odds he has now arent really worth betting on!! lol

I quite like Di Matteo as an option

I would have liked Paul Ince too!

Di Matteo nice chap but hasn't the experience to get us out of the current mess. Alan Curbishley is without doubt the man to do it. If he will? Would you?

Something keeps putting me off from wanting Curbishley. I dont know why. Fairly successful, experienced. But just doesnt feel like the answer to me. Weve had it before. Peter Reid, Dowie, Coleman.
