It turned dramatically that day when it was booed. One of the last songs we had left.

The atmosphere has been terrible for a while. Singers corner is empty 5 minutes before half time, it’s not a surprise we regularly concede in that time.

Atmosphere was fine yesterday. Especially for an early kick off

There's a lot of young, vlogger/twitter type lads in the corner who have gone very quiet in recent months after spending 3/4 years telling everyone that we're the best fans.

No, results have been poor before and it didn’t have an impact.

To be honest it’s probably just a cycle thing, it’s normal enough when a club grows for the atmosphere to change, as you have a bigger proportion who are attracted to come along and have the mindset “go on then, entertain me & score four, or I’ll just sit here in silence and maybe even do a bit of booing at the end”.

Spot on. We've turned into one of those clubs. It's a shame.

There are some clubs where results & form don’t dictate atmosphere. We were one of them for a while, and we earned the reputation as being loud & passionate. Results didn’t really matter. That’s gone now.

old Doug’s gone a bit quiet, was giving interviews all over the place last season , if He’s 100% behind robins he’s coming out in the next few days and saying shut the fuck up he‘s going nowhere ( maybe telling if he doesn’t ) back your manager, and take the pressure of him that he doesn’t deserve, ok so might not be a play off season, he’s allowed one bad one surely ? He’s earned that

Truthfully this is where I am with it.

My big big concern with it all is that this is not a Traditional Robins squad. He’s always had experience throughout the side and big characters who manage the squad himself.

He often said in the playoff year how good the group was at self policing behaviour wise.

Now he’s just a young inexperienced mentally squad. He’s got no older heads to force behaviour on the pitch and his man management doesn’t seem to be working for this group. I mean could you imagine the mesg yesterday regarding players mentals in the 21/22 squad.

Even how they play is so anti Mark, with a lack of bravery on and off the ball, lack of fire and to be honest excuses from all of them to each other.

I love what Mark has done here and think he’s the best manager in our history (or at least up there). But I think without the characters forcing changes in the squad like Faz, Kelly, Godden or Adi, it’s getting away from him.

If there is to be a new manager it has to be someone with a track record of working with younger players as feel this is a difficult challenge in the modern game and one we didn’t expect.

It won't be sung again because people don't want the away end to be divided by people kicking off at their own fans.

He’s allowed a shite season but what do we class as a shite season. If we lose on Tuesday, we will be in the relegation spots. Don’t think the group with the lack of leaders will find it easy to come back out atm.

It's not trusting King he is the one putting the money in.If a manager doesn't get results how much time do you give him. IMO sadly it will not be much longer.

It's such fine margins isn't it. Yesterday, we seemingly had a perfectly good goal ruled out and both Bassette and Wright should have scored too.

We didn't play that well for sure, but we weren't awful and the result could have quite easily been different.

The more I think about it, the more I don't want a new manager. Think it will just probably take us backwards. How many managers before have not worked out

We could easily get a honeymoon period and the results improve temporarily, but for the long haul, it's so much less certain.

I'm not convinced it's Robins losing it. I think it is more the players underperforming. Robins can motivate them all he wants, but the second they enter the field of play, it's down to them.

Sheaf still looks rusty, Rudoni disappears for huge chunks of the game, Saka seems to have lost quite a bit since his awful injury, Simms just isn't the same player he was last season, EMC still seems to be struggling with the step up and Wright is only playing well flittingly.

Robins is not responsible for Bassette missing that fabulous chance to take the lead yesterday and he's not responsible for that one Wright ballooned over the bar from a couple of yards out and he most certainly responsible for that refereeing error yesterday either.

Stability is so important in football, as we all know too well here at our very own club.

It's not working at the moment for sure and I'm as frustrated as anyone, but be careful for what you wish for.

Unless there's some brilliant manager out there, ready and available and can change our fortunes, we could ultimately end up with much less than we've got.

Not bothered by the losses, it's the way we're losing that bothers me, if the squad gets back to as it was last season with a bit of fire and quality on the ball, we could lose the next 2 and I'd be fine with it. If we lose and carry on playing like we have he's got to go. Shame he's had to leave like this, it really is, if the players think they're getting abuse at the minute then they haven't got a clue what's in store for them when they get Robins sacked.

Perhaps part of it really is that MR does best when there’s fewer options and less to work with. By having so much more to spend and a blank canvas to work from last summer he’s struggled from having so many choices at his disposal. Kid in a sweet shop scenario perhaps.

if We lose on Tuesday there’s 35 games left, not writing off this season but we’re not getting relegated as bad as we’ve been, we’re not rolling over and getting battered every week, we’ll get there, just let robins work it out, thought we looked better with the 2 up top yesterday, ive give up on the defence, they haven’t got a clean sheet in them, just need to find a front 2 that works,

Well yes to be fair. Was there at Carrow Road when we were out singing Norwich all game despite getting twatted on the pitch.

The big difference is then we were still fighting against the odds with the pitch nonsense. People kind of expected a tough season that year, they do rightly expect more than a relegation battle this time.

Its nothing to do with MR this convo really. It’s the rest of the club I’m worried about staff and players. MR may or may not go, but I think the journey is over and we’re back to where we were when SISU picked us up now. Fucking about lower mid table with a bunch of overpaid shite and a string of gormless managers.

And that’s part of it. We had our ‘seige mentality’ period where the noise never stopped pretty much irrespective of results, and there was a lot more togetherness. Now it’s a case of “what now?”

What is unfortunate is that it took such little time for it to all disappear.

This team is going to struggle with 16th. It might unconvincingly stay up, and I have my doubts even with that.

We just need to make it to next summer, recoup what we can from the players half way through their deals and start over again and try to sign a mix of youth and experience.

I was staunchly 'Robins in' but that was before I knew we could get Adi Viveash or Frank Lampard to replace him

Can we throw Tom Grennan and at a push the ghost of Winston Chruchill into the mix?

Let’s revisit this in January as I suspect it won’t have much longevity. So on the basis that Robins will be here overseeing the humble pie being consumed…I’m going to say Vernon Kay. Did a really good job of navigating some tricky marital conversations when he got caught sexting. Got as much chance as most of the names mentioned here.

You appoint a manager who is happy to work with young players and has a proven track record of developing them if that's your model.

I think we’ll stay up, like I said 20th/21st would be my bet

I think we’ll go bottom of the league Tuesday, then let’s see what everyone involved have got in them, not a lot probably

Yes exactly. I think King likely knows what needs to be done but knows the public opinion on it which makes it very awkward.
Then again the Facebook group had another thread this morning about Wilson being the best keeper at the club so maybe they should be treated as freaks and ignored.

I am utterly convinced we won't be anywhere near the relegation places this season.

As it stands though, I can't see us getting much past mid-table. Things need to change.
