just did my daily check of Gossip on BBC Teletext and read about his possible comeback :bored:

Former Tottenham midfielder David Bentley, who retired aged 29 and is preparing to return to England after three years living in Spain, says his relationship with Spurs grew "toxic" and was "like getting married to someone you think you love but end up not respecting." (Mail)

At least he should be reasonably fit. Only been a free agent since January. Last played in November, but should have stayed fit you would have thought.

The clubs a fucking joke. Signing "high profile" tosspots when the season is dead. Oh shit, forgot the Wembley final.

A well though through recruitment strategy over the last couple of years may have been the way forward perhaps?
