As usual wit the CT, it's 10-12 paragraphs in which there are only 3 paragraphs with new/useful info:
The Court of Appeal will now rule on whether if the club’s lawyers can formally appeal between October 10 and October 31.
If successful, Sisu’s case would be heard by three senior judges at the Court of Appeal during the next available window.
Should the court reject permission to appeal at this stage, Sisu could apply for an oral hearing to state their case in person.

Unfortunately those three paragraphs of new information are useless to our average reader without the background / context.

It's also helpful, to those who have been following the story, to remind people where we are after a very long and confusing process.

Nick, add Journalism to the SBT University along with accounting, state aid law and marketing.

There'll be a SBT MBA soon at this rate.

This thread would have been rammed whilst the club were kidnapped.
Nobody gives a rats......
Now we are back.

Would be interesting to total up the legal costs for SISU by the very end of it then tally up who we could have signed for that money in written off loans.
Then consider the 5 million that would come with the likely promotion following such signings

I give a rats, but until something actually happens there's not much to say. Just for the sake of moving on I hope it's rejected. I assume we can't be kicked out of the Ricoh now for another 2 years so it's less pressing than it was when we were away.

I knew that the resurgence of talking about actual football wouldn't last long. Back to talking about rent, pies, court hearings...

Just told my lad to study hard and he could become a lawyer - SISU will keep pouring money in and just put the debt against the club. I hope they are successful and get another hearing which gets thrown out, jet so we can move on. they are like having a tooth ache, don;t ant to go to the dentist, but know that it is the only way of ending the pain.

I'd like to think that but there's probably some sort of clause saying we can...in the same way that we broke a 3 year agreement with Northampton FC.

It's a shame that it's not next summer as it gives us something to talk about when there is no football, at least I know where my season ticket money is going as it certainly isn't being spent on the pitch.

And this is why there must be no let up until sisu have gone from our club for good, they will never be anygood for our team on the pitch, infact we should intensify protests against the spilt arse running the show

from what I understand there was never a three year deal, it had breakpoints every so often IIRC. I'd assume (hope) the only way well get kicked out of the Ricoh is if we stop paying rent. I suppose if Sisu win the appeal they might try another "rental holiday".

Aaaaaaaaand I've depressed myself.
