Looking at that, Blackburn may be a tougher test than the league table suggests.Bit of data here.
Lots of good stuff on here for us.....
Ipswich also looking good!

‘He keeps over performing his xG’“errors at the back and wasteful in front of goal” is that the statman way of saying “shite”?
"they'd HAVE been"You do realise that if you apply your own logic, then if Millwall had lost to WBA on Saturday (which was predicted) they'd of been in the bottom half.
Which absolutely proves my point that they are nothing but mid table fodder.
Only by those pussies too frightened to believe, and buy into what Lampard is achieving here.
Tbf we do have more than our share of negative fans who want to make excuses for failure and accept that failure before its even happened.
Will we win every game? Of course not, but we can go into every game believing we WILL win, rather than we might win, and a draw ain't too bad.
Look at Leeds last season, their fans didn't worry a fuck about us when they came to the CBS, the expectation of another 3 points flowed from the away end, and it was all too easy.
And at their place they played us off the park!
That's what belief and positivity can achieve.
Our team now is playing football on a par with the Leeds team of last season, in fact we are out scoring them compared to their start. So why is it so difficult for some fans to dream???
Clearly Frank is using the Leeds "way"
Frank Lampard admits to using Leeds United 'trick' as Coventry City maintain unbeaten start to the season - The Leeds Press
Last season in the Championship, Leeds United recorded one of the best campaigns in recent memory. What Daniel Farke achieved with the team was very surprising, after he lost some of his best players that summer. Leeds won the league title on the final day of the season, reaching the 100-point...www.theleedspress.com
That's a great quote from Doug.I agree but tbf we have one of the most beleaguered fanbases in the country. Every time something good has happened or looked like it was going to happen in the last 15 years it's immediately been followed by a tsunami of shit (the last 2-3 years being the exception). It takes a long time to alter that mindset.
Doug mentioned it in his interview after we bought the ground. Can't remember what the question was but to badly paraphrase him he said that it's all coming together, going in the right direction and we need to change our attitudes and believe now
Edit: found the bit in the Doug interview (should start at the right place)
Agree with most of that, but I do think away draws at two parachute clubs and promotion rivals would be pretty good results. That's a great quote from Doug.
And I think hes bang on the money. This is the first time in over 20 years when everything has come together for the club.
We now have our own stadium, which we sell out regularly, a fantastic match day atmosphere, a great squad, top manager and an owner with real desire and commitment.
That hasn't happened since the days of Jimmy Hill !!!!
The only thing we need to improve on is the expectation of (some) of our own fans.
We've been quick to point the finger of blame at our owners or players in the past, now we need to look at ourselves, and step up the belief!
People saying they would take a point at Millwall or Derby or saying Portsmouth is a difficult place to go is totally unacceptable now. These people need to give their heads a wobble, if we really want promotion we have to believe and expect we will win every game, not just hope to.
For example, in the "early stats" thread, one guy said that getting 2 points from away games at Ipswich and Southampton would be (and I quote) "great results"
How the absolute fuck, can dropping 4 points out of a possible 6 (relegation form) be "great results" for a team looking to get promotion???? 2 points from those fixtures would be great for a Sheffield Wednesday or Oxford utd, but shite for us.
This is the mentality that we all need to stamp out right now.
Its time to step up and back DK and FL 100%
Leeds and Burnley never went into games last season thinking 1 point was a good result.Agree with most of that, but I do think away draws at two parachute clubs and promotion rivals would be pretty good results.
You can’t reasonably suggest that those games would be anything other than 50/50 in terms of outcome?
Also remember that 2pts per game would be very close to top 2 and drawing away is always a good result in that context.
Leeds and Burnley had teams and squads far ahead of the rest. As yet we’re not in that position.Leeds and Burnley never went into games last season thinking 1 point was a good result.
If you go for all 3 points and end up with 1 then you have to analyse why you didn't get all 3 and learn from it (like we did against Oxford)
But to accept a point before a ball is kicked is completely unacceptable at this level, and with our aim of promotion.
This is the first time in decades that the problem at the club is from the fans and not within.
It's important the mentality is changed from the top, i'm still not quite sure why you are so rattled about someone on a forum writing something along the lines of "tough away game that, probably take a point." It has no affect on the outcome of the game whatsoever, in fact i'd argue if we become an expectant fanbase it just gives those desperate to stick the boot in, and believe me we have many, a chance to completely overreact when we have a couple of rough weeks.Leeds and Burnley never went into games last season thinking 1 point was a good result.

We need to get a winners mentality, you cant expect to achieve anything without it.
Fantastic Post, I have always said I would be happy with a point away from home as my Theory is win you home games and draw your away games and you pretty much get promoted. More positive mind set and with the results we have had show we are a match for anyone in this leagueThat's a great quote from Doug.
