I do think the unbeaten run goes in this block, some tough away games, but feel we will get all 3 wins from the home games

Pompey and Stoke are difficult places to go

But the above is what I'd be pleased with- 12 points from those 18

There is not a single game out of that list that I look at and feel nervous about. That's just how good we are at the moment.

Of course there will be a banana skin at some point, but until then let's just enjoy it. I feel like we can attack that list of fixtures and produce a really good points return. If we lose here or there, then whatever. Like I said on another thread though, it really feels like this train isn't stopping at the moment.

If we’re going to lose one Portsmouth away midweek feels like the one it would be, although imagine the narrative if we’re still unbeaten before we go away to Mark Robins’ Stoke…

11 points (3 wins, 2 draws and a loss) keeps us at 2ppg so that or more would be excellent in my book.

I won't cry over the unbeaten run ending, but I do want to absolutely bury Sheffield Utd.

Naturally the energy opposing managers put into stifling out attack will only increase from here on in - so think it will be a tough run.

Main one I'm nervous about is Pompey. But I was also nervous about SWFC 🤷‍♂️

Law of averages says we lose at some point. I think we will in one of the three away games, not sure which one.
We'll win all of those home games.

Blackburn (H) win
Pompey (A) draw
Watford (H) win
Wrexham (A) draw
Sheffield United (H) draw
Stoke (A) loss

Only put loss in cos it's gotta come sooner or later right?

Right?!

It's more that at some point we're going to have a game that we underperform in, or the luck doesn't go our way. All things being equal, I agree - we have nothing to fear from those games and I hope we don't approach them with any. just hope that a lack of fear doesn't spill over into complacency. I'm hopeful it won't.

Of those games I think the ones most likely to end in defeat are Portsmouth and Stoke. Both away and I can just see them playing in a way that frustrates us.

I hope we give a lesson to SU and Wrexham though.

One of the pluses for me is that FL and his team are not one trick ponies and are willing to change the structure during the game. That being said I expect 12 points from this batch.

14 still unbeaten, top spot.
Stoke are falling away and will be easier when we face them. Sheff. Utd simply will get better under Wilder and be making themselves very hard to beat. Wrexham, i don't buy the hoo ha and they will find it tougher as they go. Watford are a disruptive side and on their day, and are up for it. Pompey are weak and run on enthusiasm, but we should have no issue there. Blackburn are just rubbish.

Bit wary about the Watford and Stoke games off the back of playing midweek. I thought quite a few players looked jaded yesterday.

We're gonna lose sooner or later. Is 11 points pessimistic? 3W, 2D, 1L.
