I think robins was conned by his you tube clips with this one for sure the guy has hardly played any football last few years lol

He played 21 games last year in the Dutch top flight.

Obviously it's not worked out so far but I don't think we should be writing him off just yet. There's clearly something there but he just doesn't seem fit enough.

The interview does say he sat down with Robins and showed him videos tbf. Maybe not youtube but you’d think videos which were his best bits

Yeah, but there's a big difference between what they will have shown Robins and what's on YouTube. It'd be a balanced report.

It all looked so good in his first appearance. Maybe we'll see that again at some point but he needs to do it consistently.

Kast will come good and be a star...said the same of Biamou when you were all slagging him off!

I don’t think anyone is doubting he has some ability but it’s completely pointless if he’s dying for the full time whistle after 20 minutes. The fact that he’s been an unused sub in our last 4 games despite a lack of attacking options says it all I think

And when you look at that he’s completed 10 90 minutes since the 2015/16 season and it’s coming up to December and he’s still not fit it doesn’t look very good...

I can understand that he is not match fit. But unless he is carrying an injury, his level of fitness due to training every day should mean he is able to start or come on as a sub. It could be lack of match fitness that has caused his largely unimpressive performances so far. Apart from the goal against Bristol Rovers and his 15 minute cameo against Doncaster, he has been either anonymous or poor. I can't believe he was signed purely on video clips and if you read Badlan's comments he obviously knows a lot about him. I also don't agree that signing foreign players at this level is doomed to failure. There are numerous over seas players playing successfully in the lower leagues. I don't think Jobello was a failure, the jury was surely out on him up to the point he was injured. I would hope that there is a lot more to come from Kastaneer and that he can live up to the expectations everyone had on him when he signed. It is too early to write him off.

Difference is Biamou had a strong work ethic that he could fall back on. Kast doesn't seem to have that as much - he should be fitter than he is even given his pre-season injury.

Disappointing so far to say the least no excuse at his young age to not be fit to last 90 mins when that’s what your paid to do...haven’t seen anything ability wise that makes me think he is close to breaking into the first team,Under 23 level he’s looked lost.

not fit enough to play 90 mins in November??? This Badlan prat should be forced to pay his contract it’s an absolute disgrace to the shirt

Makes no difference he’s still a disgrace not to be fit in November

Don't disagree with that, although I may not say it to his face.

I think 9 points would be a good haul from those six games.
Maybe win the home ones and lose the away ones.
Anything better than 9 points would be excellent.
