Some decent points to play for in the next 6 games. Again team around us or lower.
We play the Owls twice in quick succession.

Hoping we get 7+ points at least.

December 16, 7:45pm: Huddersfield Town (h)

December 19, 3pm: Sheffield Wednesday (a)

December 26, 3pm: Stoke City (h)

December 29, 7:45pm: Preston North End (a)

January 2, 3pm: Millwall (a)

January 16, 3pm: Sheffield Wednesday (h)

Depends on getting through games without Liam Kelly as he's been massive for city, can sheaf step up or do we play pask in Kelly's position.
As for games if we get pionts from every game then we'll be on the right track.

On our day maybe, but I'd still happily take 7 or above points from those, especially given Kelly's likely absence/potential injuries and suspensions. PNE away will be extremely tough, despite their bizarre home/awau record.

Would expect Stoke to beat us but the other games should be decent contests. See if we can continue creeping towards mid table.

8 points and I’ll be happy.

January has a lot of winnable games too. Feb is going to be a blood bath though so need points on the board by then.

We need to pick up as many points as possible over the next 6 games as looking at our February fixtures, I think we're probably due a poor run of results. Especially if we continue to pick up injuries.

Given their current form I think both the Sheffield W fixtures and the Millwall game are winnable. Huddersfield have recently lost their top scorer Koroma long term which will be a blow to them. Preston's form is indifferent and they seem to struggle to string results together but they've beaten a few top sides already this season. Both of these I'd fancy for us to get at least a draw from though.

The Millwall game takes us to the half way point of the season so if we're over the 25 point mark by then I'll be happy.

Love to see 10 here. 31 points from 24 and only 19 from the last 22 to get to the magic 50.

That’s it Kelly is defo out for a long period my feeling is it’s a tight one or a pull hopefully it’s not a big tear

We are one of Stokes bogey teams that cup game was immense - even Shaquiri looked like an amateur and Hughes of course picked his cards up the next day

Decent set of fixtures on paper. I guess for survival, 6 points keeps us above the 1 point per game mantra but given who we're playing and our form, it would be good to get at least 9 or 10 from them.

I think we’ll get 6 points. They’re not as easy as made out
Huddersfield - d
Sheff wed - d
Stoke - l
Preston - d (never win there)
Milwall - l
Sheff wed - w

I wouldn't worry about the Feb fixtures too much, of those 6 games in the first half only Blackburn and Brentford totally outplayed us, we lost narrowly to Watford, the other three we took points from. Blackburn haven't won in the last 3 and look to have gone off the boil, and all of those teams will likely be suffering from injuries, suspensions, fatigue, as well as us. Look what happened with Norwich recently.

Stoke going very well and PNE a big bogey side but the double header against Sheff Weds is a real chance to do some damage.

Amazing that Blackburn have gone off the boil, but hardly surprising with Mogga in charge. Armstrong has 14 goals this season already.

Millwall is exactly half way I think. So that isn't the next 5 the benchmark?

We are capable of getting something from every one of these games, even Stoke or Preston, which are the hardest. Excluding Sheffield Wed (H), isn't it a win at home to Huddersfield and four draws - 7 points. That is 28 for halfway. Personally I think Millwall is a possible win as well.

If you include Sheffield (H) also as a win isn't it then 10 points?

8/9 would be amazing,We’re gradually finding our feet in this league.
It’s took time but other squads were fitter than ours.
Onwards and upwards PUSB.
In Robins and Vivash we trust!!

Absolutely. On another thread I said we seem to be winning and/or drawing the games we should be rather than messing them up like we have in the past. We cannot expect to beat the big boys when we play them, so we need to get as many points on the board from these kind of teams.
