Can't think of too many tougher runs of fixtures than this one.

I thought the Bradford game was the one we would pick up 3 points in out of the 5,,, now after the last 3 games where the next win will be... Its just as well those below us can't win a game to drop us in more trouble...

Bradford at home - 2 points off the top 6

Chesterfield away - 2 points off the top 6

Fleetwood away - 2 points off the top 6

Doncaster home - In top 6

Peterborough away - Level on points with Doncaster in 6th place.

Not saying we can't win any of these, but it would be much better to be playing midtable teams right now, rather than those in with a great chance of the play-off positions.

Thought the Bradford game was the one we'd pick up 3 points,,,, not sure where the next win is coming from in the next 4... We defo need a couple of wins,, just lucky at min bottom 4 are not picking up points...

Looking back at the last 6 games, the recent form table looks a lot better.. although TM hasn't set the world on fire.. work in progress
http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-one/2014-2015/form-table/full

At the moment Crewe & Notts Co look like they are the teams most likely to drop & us & Orient will escape.

7 points from the first 3

Where are all the people saying we won't get more than a couple of points?

very optimistic but i cant see why we can't win all 9 remaining games tbh! By the time we play Bristol they may be up so could be distracted...

Doncaster sitting in 12th- Only won 1 of the last 6
Peterborough Sitting in 7th- Could be a tough one as they were doing ok until they lost to Preston (But we did beat MK Dons, who were on a good run)
Leyton Orient- Sitting 4 places below us but only 4 points (Big Big game, definitely need a result here to distance ourselves, and there form has improved in recent weeks!)
Two potential banana skins- Peterborough and Leyton
Notts County- One place below us, need a win; there form hasn't been that great so hopefully we can continue the recent change in results onto to here. (Again another big big game)
Colochester- 2nd bottom SHould get a result! Hopefully
Oldham- Only 3 points above us (lost 5 of the last 6!)
Bristol- The form team and also the best team in the league according to the table, a win would be very very optimisitic, but hopefully we'll be safe by then!
Crewe and Crawley- Both below us and we need results here if we are still in it.

It looks as if it is in our own hands as we are playing 6 teams out of the final 9 which are in and around us! 6 wins would be nice! However, history and our reputation of playing against lower teams isn't and hasn't always been the best!!

DLWWWWLWW would be perfect! and the best we could hope for

Otis, can you predict the next five games when these have finished. Can you pretend Pressley is still manager too.

thanks

Surely 10 points won't get us into the play-off places?

It's crazy after this season that with 3 wins, 1 draw and a defeat and you are suddenly 10 points off the play offs.

We would have to beat everyone now though really to stand a chance

Think that's what I just said.

If we win all 7 remaining games though ....... :thinking about:

And every other team draws all their games

Yeah, if that was to happen.....then again we still have another 2-3 games to play at home....we rarely perform at home.

Uuh, did you check when we last won at home ??? Anyone who thinks we have even the slimmest hope of reaching the play-offs is seriously deluding themselves. The clubs at the top are there because they have won more games by more goals than we have. The foundation for a promotion push is usually a club that is very difficult to beat at home and that has one or more of the top goalscorers in the league. We fall short on both counts.

He put it on the same time he had a bet on a new coalition government of the Green Party and the Chuckle Brothers.

Think I will see a Barry Chuckle anti fracking policy introduced in parliament before I see Coventry City in this season's play-off positions to be honest.

I'd be more than happy with mid table and possibly sneaking into the top half. Mowbray needs to sort out the problem of us not being able to win at home, do that and finish mid table and he'll have done very well in my opinion.

I reckon if he keeps us up full stop he's done very well. I'll start being a bit more critical when he's had a dabble in the summer transfer window.
