The next 5 games are going to be crucial in terms of maintaining this form for the play offs before we hit a very tricky 3 game patch against the top 3.

(A) SW
(H) Preston
(A) Oxford
(H) Stoke
(A) Derby

Tough 3 games follow:
(H) Sunderland
(A) SU
(H) Burnley

At home I think we can give any team a good game. I know against Leeds we didn’t but I reckon they will win the league with some comfort

Win four of those five and I'll start taking the new coaching team very seriously. Might also start looking for Airbnbs in London in late May.

Win home games and draw or better our away games and we continue to build momentum

66 won't be enough, it will be around 70+. It's only been under 70 once in the last 10-12 seasons and that was 69.

We could get quite feasibley get 7 points from the 3 tough ones and only 5 in the next lot. Take one game at a time. Its important not to lose and at least pick a point up here and there. 2 years ago we only lost 2 from February but drew quite a lot

We've got a huge chance of making the play offs.
Ignore Leeds and Ipswich (which wasn't even a league game), our form is outstanding.
Just need to keep grinding it out.

The next 6 are all winnable games imo. For the most difficult games, we have home advantage. If we beat PNE at home I will certainly believe that a date is on our side.

Sheffield Wednesday is a big litmus test because Hillsborough is a tough place to go.

I reckon if we assume max 3 probably 1 from those last 3, that we need at least 11 from age next 5 to realistically remain in the hunt.

I think we'll need 72. I've just done my predictions and have us just short but in it until the end. I reckon we'll need to win our last 2 away at Luton and home to Boro. Not impossible but think it's a stretch.

I think we will just miss out but given where we were when FL took over that’s a fine achievement.

We need to keep our key players in the summer - especially Haji Wright - and strengthen wisely. We will probably have some money from Gykores moving on and the sale of Sheaf and possibly MVE.

I’m optimistic about next season.

I would agree normally. But other than the top 4 the rest have been inconsistent. Blackburn in 6th averaging 66 points for the season. WBA averaging 69 points in 5th. They play each other tonight so at least one of them will go even lower.

5 wins out of the last 6, mainly against sides in the top half. The only defeat was against Leeds. 14 games to go. 9 more wins to 71 points. Sounds a lot but the teams around us have to do similar to keep up with us. The difference now is we have a GK that is a GK.

depends on the 6 pointers hit 70 with wins against middlesbrough and west brom and that maybe enough
lose to both of them and then we would need probably 73 which would probably be out of reach

some big games tonight
could do with middlesbrough losing to sheff u and blackburn not losing to the baggies

West Brom have Leeds and Burnley away coming soon. Still too early to rule anyone in or out
