if we can beat Rochdale, and then a point from the other 2
The worse that the table can look like excluding other games with other teams is

Cov P 33 Pts 62
Roth P 32 Pts 58
Wyco P 32 Pts 56
Sund P32 Pts 55
Peterb P33 Pts 55

Anything more than 5 points from the next 3 would make that look even better

Of course games are not played in that order, but just goes to show what sort of gap we can build

The run in after Sunderland is not too daunting, so 5 points from these 3 games and then I will really start to believe

1 game at a time as always

We need 4 pts minimum from the 9 available vs rotheram Ipswich and Sunderland though i feel

I would argue, beat Rochdale and avoid defeat in the other 3 will be more than sufficient

I'd even be happy with 3 if it's 3 draws. Stops them 2 each also and keep the unbeaten run going which is great for confidence / morale.

Looking at the table I reckon all the clubs in the top 6 fancy their chances of winning the league , some seriously good runs being had by a number of teams

We should be looking to win all the next three games.

No reason why we can't either.

I just can’t see this team crumbling and going on a bad run.....so it’s down to how good and how long those runs are for the other teams.

I'm the same. Not worried about anyone anymore.
Which in itself is worrying

Realistically we are going to lose some games in the run in. If we lose to one/two teams around us it will be key to see how we pick ourselves up.

Do we change the way we play slightly..go more gung ho?. Not saying I disagree. But wouldn't you take 2 wins and defeat. Rather than a win and 2 draws? Even if it means a team below us get 3 points.

The promotion winning team of 1967 were unbeaten from October to the end of the season. I don’t want to tempt fate but ......

We have had more than our share of narrow wins and draws. Got the rub of the green. Some of these could have gone the other way and some in the future could do so. We have not that many thumping victories, the two 4-1's aside. The Rotherham Sunderland Ipswich threesome is the key. We could lose the lot narrowly and equally win the lot.

The rise of Gillingham to outside play-off contenders makes that game more tricky.

Obviously we can do it but it is likely to be a nail biter

While Rotherham and Sunderland are at home, Ipswich is away. If we can win 1 and draw 1 of the home games and draw the away match, I think we'd have done very well. Interestingly, Fleetwood play Sunderland and Ipswich just before we play the latter 2 teams. Hopefully Fleetwood can force draws out of Sunderland and Ipswich. Also Sunderland, appear to have a simpler set of fixtures in the final stretch. So I think beating them will be important.
