really need to bounce back now in terms of points
next 2 games take us to half way - they are both winnable, and anything less than 4 points - to reach half way on 43 would have me worried

time to bring back maddison next saturday
keep ruben in after today
and ~JOB and kent on the bench

JOB has to play - we have much more energy when he's on the pitch

Yep, I would be inclined to leave Lameiras in and drop Murphy for Maddison.

I agree JOB has to play.

I'd give Murphy a rest, and presuming Lorentzson is fit enough to start.

RCC
Lorentzson
Martin
Turner
Stokes
Fleck
Vincelot
Lamieres
Maddison
JOB
Armstrong

Then you have Murphy and Kent to bring on in the last 30.

Murphs does tend to play better at home though. Nice problem to have.

JOB Maddison Murphy
Armstrong

For me. Kent and Lamerias on the bench. Drop Cole altogether (even though I still haven't seen him play) and stick Bigi on the bench.

Ricketts isn't banned until Boxing Day is he? Time to get Lorentzson fit I would hope.

I was working today and when I checked the result i was surprised tbh. Then I saw the highlights and read what had happened. Sometimes football can do that.

I don't think this will affect us in any way at all and 6 points to come from the next two actually looks more certain now.

I'm worried if you star putting Maddison in at the expense of players who have performed well for us over the majority of the season so far. I've always felt JOB is a vital cog, always probing, influencing and his sheer tenacity helps the side.
Joe Cole has to be given his head and some play time as he will for sure become pure classs at this level. But it's a team game and the balance is as important as the players you have available. the best players don't always make the best team for the occasion.
TM will know exactly what to do I'm sure of that.

We will go up automatically unless we are hit with incredible injuries or something very unforeseen.

Maddison won't start a game until into the new year.

Oldham are a decent team away from home only losing once all season. Then again, we're not too bad at home this season

I want to see Maddison and Lameiras playing together again, as a duo they were superb in the opening 3 matches.

Maddison has 3 assists in 3 full (60+ mins) League 1 games so far. So that means he is currently averaging an assist every 79 minutes
