THE Princess Royal gave her royal seal of approval to a multi-million department at Coventry University this morning. Princess Anne officially opened the £55 million faculty of engineering and computing and was given a tour of the building by the university’s vice chancellor, Professor Madeleine Atkins. She spoke to aviation students Josh Holmes and Ana-Marie Lotofan who were using flight simulators as part of their studies and was given a tour of the high-tech games lab featuring the latest 3D games development equipment. Josh said: “Princess Anne asked a lot of questions about the flight simulators - she was very friendly and put me at ease when I started talking to her.”
