This story is shocking! Just hearing it be described on the news, that he had to steal from his classmates lunch boxes to try and get something to eat!

Agreed SW ,Its subhuman . Will it ever be feasible to recognise the signs and Intervene to save these desperate children ? personally I doubt it .

I don't think so. I think most people couldn't imagine this ever even happening, never mind wanting to think its going on at the child's home! Even with this strange behaviour, it would be difficult to pinpoint what the cause was, and if challenged, the parents aren't likely to admit there's something up, are they. Think that shows in them pleading their innocence now!
