POLICE have released an e-fit image of a man believed to have grabbed a teenage girl in Coventry. A man attempted to drag the 17-year-old in to his silver Peugeot 206 in Hillmorton Road, Wood End, but she managed to break free from the attacker. West Midlands Police say the attack on October 8 left her unhurt but shaken. The force had arrested two men in connection with the attack but both have been released without charge. PC Stefan Ashton said: “This was a frightening attack for the victim and we want to ensure that the man responsible is brought to justice. “We are appealing to members of the public to help us identify the man or provide us with any more information about what happened. “As ever we would ask anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in their local community to report it to police as soon as possible. “Our neighbourhood officers are continuing to work closely with schools in the Wood End area and any reports of this nature will be taken very seriously.” Anyone with information should call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
