"A man has been arrested after a machete attack in Nuneaton.

Police said the victim suffered cuts to his hands, arms and shoulders in the incident in Tudor Road at 9.10pm on Tuesday. He did not go to hospital.

The offender left the scene with the weapon and a petrol can.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at a house in Cherry Tree Road, at 2am yesterday, and later released on conditional bail, in connection with what happened."
