A MAN who says he fought off two pit bulls after they chased him down a city centre street is calling for action to be taken against the dogs’ owners.

Why is it every dog attack they are pitbulls? They are probably just staffys but pit bulls sounds better in the paper doesn't it?

Oh yes coupled with the obligatory snarling picture of a dog.

Basically, this guy walks past a house gets chased by a couple of dogs that don't bite him and then the owner calls them back and they return to him.

Now I am sure it wasn't the most pleasant experience for Mr Lynch but dogs are territorial and as far as I can see the only thing that has been done wrong is that the owner of the dogs has left his front door open so his dogs could get out. That is it, yet he runs off and tells the papers! Soppy div.
