LONDON Midland have cancelled of altered 16 more train journeys on the Coventry-Birmingham line today.The troubled rail operator is facing disruption on routes throughout the Midlands until mid-December because of a shortage of trained drivers.Trains on routes from London Euston through Northampton, Rugby, Coventry and Birmingham are among those affected.London Midland is blaming an exodus of qualified drivers who were poached by rival operators offering up to 25 per cent higher wages.Earlier this week rail minister Norman Baker MP called on normal service to be resumed “as a matter of priority”.
