A CYCLIST who died after falling off his bike on a country lane at Over Whitacre, north Warwickshire, has been named as Christopher Thompson. The 64-year-old, from Sutton Coldfield, was found lying by the side of Nuneaton Road, at Over Whitacre, with a serious head injury and in cardiac arrest on Sunday. Mr Thompson was taken to George Eliot Hospital where he was certified dead. A post mortem examination has been opened and closed and an inquest will take place at a date to be arranged.
