COVENTRY City will not be shut out of the Ricoh Arena, stadium bosses said this morning. That's despite the club's eleventh hour announcement last night that it had put one arm of its business - Coventry City Football Ltd - into administration. The development came ahead of this morning's High Court hearing, in which stadium company Arena Coventry Limited was to seek its own chosen administrator to take over the club from hedge fund owners SISU - in a dispute over unpaid rent.It sparked fans' rumours last night that ACL might lock out the club. ACL believed the lease was with CCFC Ltd, not CCFC (Holdings) Ltd, which the club now says will continue as its trading arm.It remains to be seen if the club will want to continue playing at the Ricoh. But an ACL spokesman told the Telegraph this morning: "It is totally untrue ACL will block the club from the Ricoh."The whole point of ACL's actions has been that Coventry City Football Club should continue playing at the Ricoh."He accepted CCFC had rightfully placed its CCFC Ltd arm into administration as a charge taken out by Arvo Master Fund last year - a Cayman Islands based arm of SISU - allowed it to do do.The ACL spokesman said an ACL board meeting will take place at 4pm today to consider the next moves. It is understood the Football League will also meet today to discuss the club's actions. As the Telegraph revealed last night, the club hopes its actions will avoid a 10-point deduction which would destroy its hopes of gaining promotion from Division One this season.Football finance expert Alan Limb, of BRI, said that was unlikely, pointing to a similar previous move by Southampton FC, which was unsuccessful in avoiding a points deduction.
