Hmmmm...

Any Boothroyd haters still think it was right to get rid of him?

Any Boothroyd lovers missing him right now?

There's one or two things mentioned in here that are missing from the current set up.

Nope, not missing Boothroyd and to be honest I think we have bigger things to worry about than if our ex manager is doing well (even though he's only been there, as said above, 5 minutes).

EDIT: Adding to what I've said, those reports all sound very familiar don't they as well. What player in their right mind is going to come out and say the manager that's just come in plays shocking football etc????

and yet for some reason we question why AT doesn't comment on how our board is so shocking that he can't even look at replacing football boots (a little exageration i know)

Well the thing is he Boothroyd spent alot of wages on buying players to suit his shite system and style. Thorn inherited a squad built to play that system.

Unfortunately because we now have no money we can't change the squad.

Platt was excellent when he came on - but he ain't gonna get you in the play offs is he...

credit where its due an all that, he offered a hell of a lot more options than McDonald did but that don't mean I want a team that revolves around him, or even a squad where he is an option. Seems harsh i know

Well id rather we got found out when we were in the top 6 & on 34 points after 21 games than bottom of the league with 13 points from 21. I dont care about entertaining football i want winning football & we had that for half the season last year. Shouldnt of been sacked. Maybe his tactics were old fashioned but atleast he had some.

He should have been sacked, and the manager who you think is rubbish produced much better results and performances with those players than Aidy was. I really am amazed that there is even one single City fan who would rather have Aidy than Thorn. I know they exist, I just find it quite incredible!
