Currently playing in a friendly v Monaco!
Playing very well if I'm honest, such a fantastic touch.

On Twitter Newcastle fans are raving on about him being the next Tiote!

He's £4.3m in the Sky Dream Team league! Was surprised to even see him listed!

He looks so composed! The extra time on the ball with Premiership football will suite him. He might just become a quality player!

He will become a quality player. Personally think he was misused and under valued.

Played out of position in his whole time here, should have sat in front of the back four (Clingan's role), anchoring the diamond. He would have collected the ball from the defence and been allowed to try and dictate the tempo of the game. Having said that would've been a bold move by thorn to move Clingan out of position for a 17 year old.

Would have been a good kick up the arse for Clingan though.

I think Thomas is better than both of them in that role. Bigi has much better vision so could play more advanced

Shouldn't Newcastle be prosecuted for playing a child?

He's a great kid. I'll like him no matter the shit he wears.

EDIT: shirt. Some things need filtering.

Hard to watch. Very painful watching one of our kids realising -if only beginning so - to fulfill his potential elsewhere

Bitter absolutely not. I hope he goes on and makes a great career for himself. I always applaud ex players when they return to the club -especially when Dion Dublin did. I'm just not getting the point. He has gone and that's that.

Then why give it the big-uns about you not watching, for the fact he is an ex player?

Giving it "the big uns"? There are two threads on this already. What next lets follow Richard Keogh's career? Was I supposed to see how Roy o'donovsn was doing at Hibs.

My point simply was that if you look backwards you tend to walk into something. You need to look ahead of you.

I'd love to see him do well, purely for the fact he's been brought through our Academy and, at a time when Coventry are plying their trade in the third division, this gives me a little pride!

The fact that you see it as looking backwards speaks volumes. I for one are not looking at it from a skyblues seat, but rather a football fan who I watching a talent from our system develop.

Again. Bore off from the thread if the career of Bigi, post-ccfc is of no interest to you.

Well it's a different situation because he's a young lad, who happens to be very likeable, and has come through our Academy and lived in the City since he was kid. Additionally I think during pre-season where there is not a lot else going on, TWO THREADS hardly seems excessive.

ex players going on to better things?
a) Dion Dublin - Broken neck
b) Robbie Keane - more famous for playing for us than anyone else
c) Craig Bellamy - tattoed sub
d) Darren huckerby - last seen with a drunken cook

Any other?

I hope we put a sell on clause because in my opinion he could be a real star,,, and if this is in place the better he does the better we will be.. Bigi deserves his chance at playing with top players in a top league good luck to him i for one hope he fills his potential....
