I fully intend to be supporting both teams this season again and I'm glad they are working together to support each other. Just imagine how good for the City it would be if both teams were competing for promotion this year. I've done the first two City home games and have tickets for the 3rd. We will go to Cov's first home game on September 5th and we have train tickets booked to London on September 26th to watch them away at Richmond again.

C'mon Cov
I saw my first ever Cov rugby game away at Richmond last season, 28-28 if I remember correctly. Cracking game and I was also surprised how many Cov fans travelled.

My wife and I were there that day.................I've never felt so cold as in that stand that afternoon ! It ended our win run but we got off lightly as they missed that last minute kick from close in !
The Butts is an absolutely ideal location for a new ground but it will never happen. The building work currently going on completely rules it out. Prior to that it might just have been possible to come up with a plan that would have worked for a smaller stadium than the Ricoh but no chance now.
And of course besides the problems of actually building the thing we would have to deal with CCC who own the place.
If, and its a huge if, we are to get a new ground we're probably looking at someone just over the city boundary, such as by Ansty Park, Warwick Uni or Broadstreet. Can't see any reason CRFC would want to move away from the city centre to any new ground we may build.
