Remember the other week CCFC tweeted a random picture of the sky blue tavern and people were speculating they may be hinting something? Well a few pictures have cropped up on social media of a unit by Rileys near the Butts with a large banner saying 'coming soon' flanked by two Dhillons logos and sky blues crests. Looks like the club are doing something in conjunction with the brewery - Interesting!

Ah sorry,the Snooker hall.
So somewhere close to the old Burns club ,Mercia sound

Had a brain fart there, thinking Riley's was the old electrical supplier.

Edit :- Might have been Wileys lol.

Surely they'll be running coaches to the Ricoh from there

Home - Sky Blue Tavern

An collaboration between CCFC and Dhillon’s, a modern sports bar serving great beer, authentic Indian cuisine and pub classics in Coventry

Yeah you'd think. It's nice that the club will have a presence in the centre IMO. Would be handy if they ran coaches back to town as well for a few post match pints.

Actually can't wait for this, could be a massive money spinner if they get it right.

A few clubs starting to do stuff with Micro Breweries/Breweries etc.

Nice to see the club doing something similar if thats what they're doing.

Dhillon.....if you are reading this perhaps get together with CCFC to fund a bus with the Sky BlueTavern plastered all over it with plenty of CCFC crests too.

Could double as a great marketing visual through the City....

I’m sure a lot of fans will be prepared to pay £5 return to cover running costs.

isn't this just down the road from the train station if only the stadium had a station wouldn't really need a bus, oh hang on ...

Agreed about the bus. It's a great location for the station but without the regular service it wouldn't work.

A regular bus between 1 and 2:30 and then the same following the game would be brilliant. The guys at Dhillion's are clearly clever with their workings. I'm sure they'll do a deal where you can spend £15 in there on a matchday and get on the bus for free. Or, as others have said £5 return would be fine.

No it’s a decent walk and time consuming when a door to door bus would be a far more convenient service.

The station at the ground will be closer than where the coaches drop off though!

It's 10 mins and the train will get across town much quicker so we will all have a choice.

Not even 10 minutes is it? from the tavern, you can walk the edge of the ring road to the station. 5 minutes max I reckon.

A bus would be a good idea, granted it is convenient for the stadium. 365 revenues eh?

They’ve absolutely got to haven’t they. Buses every 20 minutes or something from 1pm to 2:40 would be ideal. Surely people would flock to it? Just pub crawl in town then end there?
