As most of us seam to be woking on the assumption the reason the kit is delayed is due to getting a new sponsor. Being in the Championship means more sponsor ££££ yay for us.

Who do we think we will get.

My guess will be one of the many betting firms that all ready sponsor multiple clubs. The only hope is they have a simple logo that can have plain white text.

Paddy Power
Betway

for example. The dream would be Paddypower and they continue to do the no sponsor on front of shirt like they did this year.

Hopefully not one of the asian betting companies that have crazy busy logos like on crystal palaces shirt

I’d rather not a betting company, though the money for the club would be most welcome

Coventry University would be ideal, I think Portsmouth's uni sponsor them?

It will be a betting company though.

A betting company would be a shame but lets be real, they pay the most money. We're not in a position to be turning away cash.

Might as well be – seeing as they sponsor about half of the Chumpionship already

The only plus for a betting company as a sponsor is the kids shirts will look cool as they will be free of any tatty logo.

Might be Land Rover, now that they don't sponsor the insects anymore.

About time we had a car manufacturer again.

Not that fussed if it is a betting company. We need to get the best price really and make the most of being in the Championship with things like that.

Would rather it be a local firm but if not then whoever will pay. We‘re not in a position to be picky.

I just hope it doesn’t ruin the shirt. A&A updated logo last year was a nice subtle addition.

Don’t get the unease over betting companies - if they’re paying then go for it. It’s a logo on a shirt - if you’re betting because of a logo on a shirt you’ve got bigger issues

That’s the problem. Some have serious issues and just seeing a logo would give them an impulse. A couple of City fans I know have battled really hard to get over their addictions. One is heavily involved with his church and won’t go into a certain area of the building as it was part funded by the Lottery.

With all the issues JLR have, you can rule them out. With the announcement yesterday of a French National being appointed as the new CEO or whatever they are calling him watch out for a collaboration with a French car company

We have skybet on the sleeves and the stadium is full of betting adverts too, so I'd have a picture of Jimmy Saville with a big cigar and 'now then now then' underneath or even a nice photo of fred and rose if they're paying the money.

I can understand the issues with impulse but you can't watch a football match without seeing a logo. It is literally on the arm of the sleeve and things like this:

Not going into an area of the church from lottery funding? Not too sure about that, I am pretty sure he will be going to places, using services etc every day with some input from the lottery.

Is alcohol sponsorship banned? You used to have Holsten, Coors, Carling and the like but nothing now that I can think of

Genuine question: do Warwick advertise? I can’t remember ever seeing it. I know Cov do, but do you have to when you’re as prestigious as Warwick?
