on first glance it just looks like everyone is liking their own posts, we know who has posted without needing another line at bottom of every post

OK, so you don't want it to be watched / subscribed to when you post? Ill have a lookThe default settings result in an alert for every new post in 'watched' topics.
I think if you post in a topic it is considered watched.
I've tried to turn that off in alerts settings, only want to know if someone quotes me really.
It's definitely a hell of a lot quicker.
I fixed it to my taste in user settings, it was different to what it used to be, can't remember if I tampered with it before, I tend to set things up as i like them anyhow.OK, so you don't want it to be watched / subscribed to when you post? Ill have a look
