Don’t try and go to the shop at the Arena it might be open but it’s being made really difficult to get in.

How?
Is it a problem parking (I think the car parks were closed for commonwealth) or getting into shop?
Just asking as I'm driving up later this week to pick up some tickets and have a look around shop....

Car parks all closed and then we couldn’t gain access as the public can’t get in without accreditation, they then said we are doing a sweep between 1-30 and 3 come back at 3. They should let you through but they don’t seem to be others were being sent all over the ground as well.

There is a ring of steel around the ground .

Yeah...took my son to ground at about 2...parked at tesco. just got finished at 3.45. directed to several different gates, had to row with supervisor almost for someone to try and figure it out. Nobody knew what was supposed to happen. Police on site didn't even think we'd get in.

Had to wait for event gates to be opened at 3.30...after their security checks.

Then we had to go through event gate/security checks and then get escorted right around the ground. Tbh the staff onsite are doing what they are told and it's that lack of organisation that caused issues.

I'm only glad they had loads of purple kits in to buy...would have been a right kick in the dick if they'd sold out already!

So...if planning to go...do so once event has started i reckon. Find a supervisor to check with as nobody has a clue.

Just had a look on their schedule. Wrestling is on Saturday...and they close site between am and pm sessions. So go before 1.30 or after 3.30 I think otherwise site is closed. If you go on their ticket purchase portal you can see the session times.
