Seems fair enough and I presume the Frasers Plus are paying for the sponsorship.

Frasers Plus means the CBS deal is in the bag
It maybe used as leverage to keep the rent down

Can’t help thinking that for Coventry Building Society, having their full name on our shirts would be stronger publicity than the naming of the stadium, which is inevitably shortened to the obscure and almost meaningless “CBS”.

Good news if true.

There's gonna be a lot of clubs scrambling to delink from gambling brands if the rumoured legislative changes are correct.

Nice to be ahead of the curve.

Let's be honest, there aren't many better possible sponsors than this.

Lady Godiva, the word COVENTRY, and a fairly minimal font.

I heard that too, but I suspect it's futile. Some press articles might use the full name, but on people's lips (and in people's minds) it's bound to get shortened.

The frazers plus logo ..would make a half decent kit ,it could be not dissimilar to the old talbot one , where you incorporate it into the whole shirt

Always thought this could happen. Clever move too, CBS is very much a home brand and lots of Fraser Plus signs all over the stadium, but Fraser Plus on the away kit goes round the country, good advertising.

Frazers Plus has to be a good sign, they're hardly going to sponsor the team and kick us out the stadium!

I’d take that. Maybe get a kit that incorporates the Godiva logo too somehow.

How much will Fraser Group pay, I’m just guessing that Cov Building society more or less cover the ground costs, but the Fraser Plus group brings a certain person in to play perhaps, interesting if it happens.

Next seasons 3rd kit will just be empty hangers on a rail.... as worn by Lady Godiva £60 a pop.

Good. Absolute shite having to call a stadium ‘The Coventry Building Society Arena’, or any long, corporate name for that matter. Shorter the better.

Yes exactly, that's the point I was making - naming the stadium isn't very practical publicity for the Building Society, but putting the full name on the shirts is.

It also signifies a good working, commercial relationship with Frasers. This can only be positive going forward.

All for the building society, depends how they'd do the Frasers logo though. The word mark seems a bit thin on it's own, the plus logo too, so could end up with a big box on there. Otherwise it's another non symmetrical one, just as we get rid of "this is betting". Still take any of them over Boylesports.
