We could get four new up and coming players such as Sunny for King's wages, maybe that would be better anyway? Maybe two young strikers, a midfielder and a defender. Would be worth a lot more to the club if they do well in two years time than Marlon would at 33 years of age.

Thorn has an eye for talent, so in AT I trust.

I think now this sorry affair is done it would be in everyones interest for AT to activate his plan B and start bringing in his alternative targets as soon as possible. To wait would only dent the fans belief and confidence further. The fans more than ever now need at least a small statement of intent. We all know there isnt a big transfer treasure chest to spend but the good free transfers are not going to hang around for long

I'm excited to see what thorn does, I'd love to see us buy players who fit the system, for so long we have played with square pegs in round holes.

In Thorn we trust!

I'd love to see us talk to David Jones, released by Wolves so wouldn't live too far away I'd imagine and we all know how good he can be! 26, could attract top flight interest but if we move fast then who knows!

Too optimistic?

Yes, if Thorny manages to get us in the playoffs it will be incredible. Losing King is a huge blow, but AT definately has the makings of a Sky Blue legend, hard working, an eye for a good player and honest as the day is long. I am really looking forward to seeing how he does next year.
