Just seen it too, I always wear my 1987 shirt during our FA Cup games hoping it brings us luck it also signed by Bennett and Houcheon and Oggy. I may order one of the new old shirts as back up

Do you think they will relay pictures to us outside the ground so that we can see what it looks like? :D

I hate stripes, Cup Final or not.

I'm going to get it, haven't got a shirt this year so this can be it from now on :)

Why would anyone buy it? It's a single use shirt that no-one will remember. Me no comprende?

Pfft, we'll be wearing it all the way to May, anyone would think you don't fancy our chances of winning the thing.

I like it, I think the lack of a sponsor is the main draw. I'd personally kill for a re-release of that sweet hummel shirt we had around '88.

It's a shame not many fans will get to see it on Saturday in a way being the 25th year and all that. Seems like yesterday.

You think they'd have announced it earlier than the day before it goes on sale and three days before it's (most likely) solitary use. That brown one was shown off a good while before that Watford debacle I think?

Well given that I am a saddo who owns every strip since 1983 I don't have much choice but to buy it!

Such a shame that we won the cup in one of our worst strips ever.

I never liked it at the time, so limited edition or not I won't be buying it. I didn't go for the brown one either a few years ago.

Oh, I like the current kit, but I didn't like the brown one very much. It had Sky Blue on too, which I didn't think looked quite right, I don't think there was anything "retro" about it. Nostalgic maybe, because of the colour. You can't beat the 70s brown one or the equivalent sky blue home one of the 77/78 season. Wonderful!

I liked the brown one and this one, but that white World Cup desperate tie-in seemed an exercise in futility even for the world of replica strips.

SISU attempt at getting more money from us fans!

McDonald's have just released a new burger... Bastards, I eat there so I'll have to buy it. What an evil attempt to get money off customers.

Welcome to Capitalism n1xon. (that statement is kind of ironic reading it back)

Ps. Just for the record I'm neither pro-sisu or a capitalist.:guitar2:

Also for the record, if I can justify my finances, I'll be getting one. I love the kit this year... Possibly my favourite ever City kit after the T. I didn't like the recent brown kit. I own a replica of the egg timer brown kit. I'm not too keen on sky blue and white stripes either but loved the sky blue and dark blue of the 90s. I thought the white one was a cashing in excersize which I totally bought into 12 months later and the kits were going for a tenner.

I think that's everything...

So why will you buy this one if you don't like the Blue and White stripes?

Because I'm a sucker for Ltd Ed. Especially relating to ccfc. The only blue and whites I've baought have been the "special" ones... Like the anniversary one a few years ago... Never gonna wear it. I'm an idiot, my wife thinks I'm an idiot... Now you do too, and I don't blame you. Far too much of my money goes on CCFC merch I will never use.

I could understand if it was worth more in years to come, but ltd edition shirts that only get used once will never be worth alot.....will they?

I agree with your wife :)

I'm gonna buy it

But I am gonna stand outside the shop for 15 minutes before hand singing about how poor the shop is compared to how it used to be.
