I prefer these loans where a permanent move may come as a result.
Shame it did not go that way with dagnall

4 goals in 20 appearances in league 1 this season, tearing the division up.

OK, I am starting to get this now...very much looks like our side is becoming a revolving door of cheap loan misfits..
does not auger well for next season based on what has happened so far with loans

I thought Pressley didn't agree with loans, what is the point of all these signing now,the season is over .

He probably still prefers them over not being able to field a squad.

I have always thought Prutton was a decent player - I for one am quite happy with this one. Adds a bit of experience and bite to the midfield and anything that kicks both Fleck and Thomas up the ass cannot be a bad thing!!
Robinson and Prutton though does strike me as not the most creative of midfields but in a league 1 relegation battle could be just what doctor ordered to secure us safety sooner rather than later!!

A bit of experience and grit will do us no harm at all

out of interest what has happened to Aaron Phillips?

Was a good player hasn't played much for Sheff Wed this season and previous seasons was at Swindon & colchester, has long hair on wiki and to be honest not inspired by this one

The Sheffield Wednesday forum members all seem to rate him.

So this leaves us with Prutton, Robinson, Fleck (suspended for two games I believe), Thomas and McGeouch.

What has long hair got to do with it? You know that much about him to be inspired that you notice he hasn't had long hair for a bit

That's what I want to know. Not been in the match day squad since Leyton Orient away in January. Can't have been dropped surely with our defensive problems.

I think Phillips did have a recent injury and is just coming back to fitness with the U21s within the last 2/3 weeks. Pressley obviously sees no rush to bring him back with Willis and Christie

Phillips wasn't involved with the U21's today

Was never as happy with Prutton as some others were when he was at Leeds. He's a bit of a jack of all trades but doesn't bring anything spectacular. Seems to genuinely get stuck in during every match though and is apparently a good guy to have around a club so might just be what you need to stabilise until the end of the season.

These loans are to guarantee we stay up first and foremost. I assume Elvis has a plan for the summer and as long as everything goes smoothly off the field, I have every faith in him to get us out of the division next year. We'd only be 3 points off the play-offs with the ten points and we've been awful since big Leon departed, so in the circumstances nobody can slate Elvis, saying that a bad start to next season and we could be back to square one once again.
