Welcome Seasider - I remember many years ago - Burnley, (last?) game of the season (David Cross hat trick) when we all went to Blackpool after and a local non league cup final was being played at Bloomfield Road, to be interrupted by about a hundred or so City fans strolling across the pitch to 'take' (nobody in it !) the Blackpool end and scrawl CCFC on the walls - bit childish, but happy days for a then 16 year old!!

...& although others may demand it at times...you do not have to defend or even explain to anyone. They might mock you for it...but stay strong.

Thanks for the welcome messages! I can at least now relax - it would have been embarassing if nobody replied! Probably would have just closed my account and brushed it off as a fail!

I see Ince has been sacked as Blackpool's manager. He was almost our manager before they appointed Robbins, and we know what happened to him ! We had a lucky escape there then.

Yes, much in the same way that Soton had a lucky escape with Shitzu!

Yes we got very lucky indeed. Blackpool managers don't get much to spend at all but Ince has had a lot more than Pressley yet all he has done is moan about lack of funds. When i said filling the void of football its only just. They have been very poor. It was nothing short of miraculous that they got to the premier league. Its not been easy living here and seeing them overlap Coventry over the years I have to admit.

Holloway got Blackpool to the top flight and since he's gone they've stood still, even though they got relegated from the Premier under him.Blackpool could drop down just like us,another club steeped in history !

Couldn't disagree more.

I'd say what skybluetalk needs and indeed the entire world is a hell of alot more people willing to change their opinion.

Agreed... I await the argument that convinces me that playing in Northampton IS the right thing for CCFC- short or long term. Until then....:blue:
