The future of Mario Petrone, who recently met with the leadership of Padua, might be in England. The former coach Ascoli is in fact flew across the Channel to evaluate the proposal of Coventry, club third division, although the first offer does not seem to have convinced him fully. A Petrone, however, would not mind an adventure abroad and, as revealed Padovagoal.it, the deal would be going forward in search of a point of encounter.

Would be a surprising appointment. Maybe he's trying to get more money where he is and his agent has just googled clubs looking for a manager!

Maybe it's in the pipe line for January and it's very random but maybe we have a possible buyer lined up and this is one of the request of theirs.

Fingers crossed hey

Here's an option that's suddenly become available, experience with franchises, too

He's always come across as a bit of a knob to me, but I bet he's one of them knobs you want at your club rather than with the opposition

He knows the league which is a bonus. I'd give it a go!

Come on SISU make it happen

(Didn't want an unknown italian anyway )

Good shout, be good to get him in early to assess the squad ahead of any possible January activity, although based on Owners I doubt much will happen in January.

Yes Karl Robinson isn't a bad shout actually.

Knows the league, got MK promoted (albeit with Dele Ali) so would be happy with the appointment.

Plenty could happen in January but mainly out of the door.

Why would we want a failed League 2 manager?
