I wouldn't be surprised if you're right. Seems like a proto for an '87 design. Also on closer look of the home shirt design, they haven't even finished the stitching at the bottom around the waist area – also makes me think this was a proto. Maybe just one of many different directions we could have gone in very early in the process as the stitching is unfinished.Intriguing.
