So looks like the delay was down to Monzo for last year and possibly this-so not down to Doug but down to Coventry City supporting Monzo CEO Gary Hoffman.

Is Hoffman playing silly buggers to make Doug look bad? Seems like it to me.

Why is it Doug’s fault if a fucking sponsor lets us down at the last minute apparently two seasons running ?

Hoffman isn't the CEO, he's chairman of the board. He wouldn't be stopping a sponsorship deal.

So you're saying it's not Doug but it's Hoffman? Interesting

His question at the end is fair. Maybe it isn’t actually King’s fault.

Yes, this was when Saddlebrains announced it was mainly Sky blue.

Based on absolutely nothing, if we're assuming the home shirt is sky blue with a pattern, and Hummel are doing 90's style kits this year, my guess is it will be this pattern

Edit: Just realised the pattern is the Pony logo...
I'm still going with it

Had the pattern on the home described as "scales like" which I guess you could interpret the one on the Las Palmas and Odense kits as

Some people clearly don’t know the difference in responsibilities between a CEO and a Chairman.

What ever the rights and wrongs of The Monza negotiation it won’t be down to Hoffman, it’s neither his role and he’s conflicted.

I think it's a choice rather than a rule here, in our division last season Wednesday, Huddersfield and QPR had stripes/hoops on the back, maybe a few others. Cynic in me thinks teams go with the panel because it looks so shit blank that they'll get a few extra people paying for printing.

Edit: new Stoke has stripes, think they were blank last time

Sunderland also have a fully stripy back, must be ok in the rules, no excuse if we have another striped shirt in the future.
