I thought the wouldn't be repeated part was having people order shirts and then it taking forever to get stock? Don't think anything was said or promised around when the kit would be revealed or available

A lot of clubs seem to for some reason. I don't get it. It's the same time every year. Not like you can't plan.

Mind boggling tbh. The good old days where teams wear their new kit last game of the season. Think Liverpool still do it

They need to announce the shirt sponsor within the next week or two, otherwise it’s getting close to mid July again.

That was said on here last year. And people got what they paid for on the 14th July, in mid September

Have you heard anything specific, or are you just trying to manage everyone's expectations

But they aren't doing pre order this year so that won't be an issue

No, it just means that once again the season will start and fans can't purchase this seasons shirt

Lads, most of you are too old to be wearing city shirts when not actually playing football.

You'll be grand

Well the family zone looks full after Doug had fucked it, and we've sold a record number of season tickets after Doug had fucked it so got to find something else to complain about.

2 weeks before season start?

I'd say most teams have them then

We can't get the shirts finalized before the sponsor can we. If thats the hold up then it would be stupid to rush things. Its not tinpot or amateurish its just business. We aren't Liverpool with massive sponsors tripping over themselves to throw money our way. The kits will come out and sell well regardless its hardly a massive issue other than not having them for the summer holidays.

To be honest as long as the team have a kit to play in by the time the season starts I don't really give a shit.

There seems to be a theory that the shirt onsale date has some massive impact on sales but while I'm sure it does have some impact the club over recent years has reported record breaking shirt sales so it can't be causing too much of a problem.

In fact this season, when we were all told it was an absolute disgrace and a disaster, when an American friend asked me to get them a Wright kit late in the season I went to the shop to find they were sold out. Nice change from the usual knock them out for a tenner at the end of the season because we've got loads unsold.

kit was so late last year that one of my lads, who was a mascot v middlesborough, got a free training kit to wear instead of us having to buy a full home kit. saved nearly £100. as i have two more kids who will likely be mascots this year i wouldnt mind the same thing happening again!!

I get the new shirts every year, I couldn't care less if they come out today, next week, next month or September. Is it ideal? No. But it didn't stop me getting them and really isn't the end of the world is it?
Would rather the team on the pitch be in order to be honest.

Eon isn't actually the new sponsor, it's just the timeframe for the announcement of it.

Correct. ......

Hows he managed to fuck this up a second season running? I'm sure the Illustrious third best selling shaving brand in the country will once again come to the clubs aid pumping in another 50p
