Keep seeing about it being Monzo. No idea how true it is though!

This looks fake, but if it were real, what would people think?

Anything would be an improvement on the current sponsor logo. I'd drop the multi-coloured "M" though.

Tbf I assumed it would be a fake, would be happy to see otherwise it’s a decent looking shirt.

Big improvement, but I would prefer it without printing stuff into the shirts - it just doesn't look good.

Monzo wouldn't have the big M. It would likely be on the the left of the wording.

That's if they even want the logo. Monzo often don't use the big M.

This worries me, I was excited about the monzo sponsor. Think it would have been one of the first good sponsors in 20+ years

Would've been decent, as long as it was just the wordmark. Just wonder how much of a delay this will cause now

From the same source that described the new kits a while back, exactly how saddlebrains did recently. Assuming it's two different sources, see no reason not to believe it

Wasn't last year's shit show involving the kit partly to do with a delay in finding a sponsor that would pay what Doug wanted!?

I would assume its very late in the day for it to have fallen through.

Proofs in the pudding i suppose and if we end up with his weirdo brother on the front of the shirt again that deffo suggests its gone tits up

Edit** Turns out Monzo were on the scene last year and pulled out after King upped the stakes after the play offs. If its happened again that really isnt a good look

Was it really his brother's money or was it Doug's route to inject cash?

People do realise that Doug King actually owns a chunk of King of Shaves?

In fact, he looks to be in a position of significant control of it:

THE KING OF SHAVES COMPANY LIMITED persons with significant control - Find and update company information - GOV.UK

THE KING OF SHAVES COMPANY LIMITED - Free company information from Companies House including registered office address, filing history, accounts, annual return, officers, charges, business activity
find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk

THE KING OF SHAVES HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED persons with significant control - Find and update company information - GOV.UK

THE KING OF SHAVES HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED - Free company information from Companies House including registered office address, filing history, accounts, annual return, officers, charges, business activity
find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk

Hope not, the KoS logo instantly ruins the kit.

I don't get this, we had a white logo on a white and blue kit, yet somehow that was shit but a multicolour Monzo logo plaster on the front of the kit will look fantastic.

tbh I don't get all the upset about the sponsor in general. Few years back we had some proper shit sponsors, and at one point no sponsor at all and the space 'donated' to a charity, and there wasn't this much fuss.

People complained about having a bettting company and King said he'd put an end to that. We've gone from local companies to national brands, from companies who seemed embarrased to sponsor us and never mentioned it to companies who get involved and seem to relish being sponsors but still people moan.

Who gives a shit if Doug King has a stake in King of Shaves, we're hardly the only team to be sponsored by a company connected to the owner.

Last i was told 2 weeks ago, Monzo on the front KOS on the back

If its changed since then id like to know why, very very late in the day. King said hes learnt his lesson with the kits and will have them out earlier

Down the line, think the source for the kits was someone involved with Hummel or the distributor, so guessing the same with this. No idea how accurate it is though. Would’ve been happy enough with Monzo, but if we can get more cash elsewhere, I can live with a bit a of a delay/not as pretty logo on the shirt

Tramline cuffs and collar look great. Don't need "Coventry City Football Club" around the 70s elephant and ball logo. Not bothered about the big M. Would be a billion times better than this season's monstrosity.

Agree about the words around the elephant and ball logo, makes it look like one of those random adverts that pop up on fb
