Please see below our Frequently Asked Questions regarding the continued sale of tickets for the Sky Blues' return to the Ricoh Arena against Gillingham on Friday, September 5th. We hope supporters will find this useful.

Why have tickets already 'sold out'?

Over 15,500 of the tickets which were made available for general sale have been sold out. We are working to make more available.
Around 2,500 Season Tickets have been sold, with another 4,000+ seats on reserve for previous Season Ticket holders at the Ricoh Arena.
The East Stand, North Stand and West Stand have all been opened for sale as much as possible and have sold out.

These figures do not include any seats in the hospitality sections, away fans or the South Stand.

What is the situation with the North and South Stands?

We always said we would sell the North Stand if the demand was there. When we realised that talks around the safety and security arrangements of opening the South Stand to home and away fans on a long-term basis were likely to carry on into this week, we took the decision on Saturday to sell tickets in the North Stand.

There was a Safety Advisory Group meeting on Monday and we will continue to keep supporters informed around the possible sale of seats in the South Stand and what shape this will take.

I renewed my Season Ticket for the South Stand- where does this leave me?

Fans who were renewed in the South Stand before the decision to temporarily take the tickets off sale will be accommodated within the vicinity of the South Stand, if necessary.

Do you not want to sell out the stadium?

Of course we want as many Sky Blues fans in the stadium as possible on Friday night, and will be working hard to try to do this but. At the same time, we said at the outset that we would give Season Ticket holders from 2012/13 as long as possible to purchase a ticket in their seat for the match and that accounts for 4,000+ tickets.

When will the club know if more tickets will be available?

We unfortunately cannot put an exact timescale on a decision, but we will update fans as soon as we can. We do know that 4,000+ seats will either be taken up by 2012/13 Season Ticket holders before the game or they will be released for sale.

How long do 12/13 Season Ticket holders have to buy their old seat for Gillingham?

12/13 Season Ticket holders have until 5:30pm on Thursday to secure their old seat for Gillingham. After this seats will be released for the Gillingham match.
After the Gillingham game, the 12/13 Season Ticket holders' seat will then remain on reserve until the end of September.

I was a Season Ticket holder in 2012/13 and I would like to purchase my reserved seat for the Gillingham game; how do I do this?

You can do this in the CCFC Superstore up until Thursday at 5:30pm, or online at www.ccfcshop.co.uk. Please do not e-mail info@ccfc.co.uk unless you are encountering problems purchasing for Gillingham in your old seat.

I would like to release my reserved seat as I won't be using it at Gillingham; how do I do this?

Please e-mail info@ccfc.co.uk, with the subject SEAT RELEASE and your seat details

Are hospitality packages and Executive Boxes available for Gillingham?

Yes, you can see more information here on the Hospitality section of ccfc.co.uk

How can I buy car parking for the match?

Parking can be bought via the Ricoh Arena website- www.ricoharena.com. You can also call 0844 873 6500 or by e-mailing karl.chester@ricoharena.com. These are currently for the Gillingham match only, with more info about Seasonal Passes to follow.

I didn't have the option to deliver my tickets when I bought them- will they still be sent to me?

Yes all tickets will be sent out.

I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail- is there something wrong with my tickets?

We are aware of a fault in our system where not all fans receive a confirmation e-mail. Provided your tickets show in your purchase history, you will be fine.

I am a PSL holder- what is happening to my seat?

Your seat (including nameplate and cushion) remains in place. If you have moved from the North Stand, your seat will move with you wherever possible but not before the Gillingham game.

I haven't been able to get through to the Ticket Office via phone or e-mail- why is this?

The Ticket Office and all staff at the club are extremely busy trying to make sure the match runs smoothly on Friday- whether this is selling tickets to 12/13 Season Ticket holders, sending out tickets already purchased or logistics around the matchday. Staff will respond to messages as quickly as possible, but please bear with us!

'Safety Advisory Group'. Who the fuck are they and what are they for? I guess they just spotted an opportunity to justify their own pointless existence and are milking if for all it's worth.

Below is fine, but then Celtic - Rangers was never a particularly difficult game to police eh.

But Coventry and Gillingham fans occupying the same stand!? Are you mad? Call the Safety Advisory Group!

Totally agree, TO staff doing a good job but these idiots?? Why oh why do they think there will be trouble, or assume that. How many grounds have we all been to where we mingle with opposition fans or sit/stand in touching distance of them. Yes, onion net section 9, but leave 10 and 11 closed WHY?......?

I will be very unhappy if I have to move my PSL and my children's ST again, moved from north stand to south block 11, got the seats I wanted behind disabled section so nobody in front of kids. If I have to move again where is there left that has the same, as all these type of seats in East stand now gone.

Come on guys if SISU and ACL can sort a rent deal out, you should be able to agree where the onion nets needs to go. GET A GRIP

It should have been sorted from day one no excuses. Give the fans a chance to sell out and see what happens instead we just piss people off.

I do have sympathy for the club trying to arrange a major event in such short time.

As long as it does get sorted out in the end, it will all be ok. If they mess this up and we have a massive empty section of blocks it will be extremely disappointing

We have always had trouble getting the Police / Safety Advisory group to allow away and home fans in the south stands. I wonder why they forgot this?

Especially on the sky cameras. The JPT against PNE was not good, cameras facing the empty half of the stadium. (I know the stadium will be at least 70% full, just saying)

Why they don't have the cameras on the West stand facing the East is beyond me.

As do I but I though radio interviews at the outset stated we would have the whole stadium open for this match.

Can't recall the interview you refer to but obviously he didn't predict the trouble they would have with getting the south stand open to fans.

what actually divides the fans in the south stand concourse?

TBH, the Gills should have just one block. The rest of the stadium all CCFC.

Doesn't a metal shutter come down?

The divide is a shutter door between blocks 9 n 10. It means both sets of fans can use seperate toilets n catering etc.

Sell the tickets and then let SAG deal with 3500 fans on Friday night.

No idea sounds sensible tho. Although after MK last season, that wouldn't hold back the SBA for long Maybe the police should shut the south stand on second thoughts

WHY is the advisory panel meeting when they know all the answers from previous games.
Crewe in JPT was a similar scenario just use that FFS.

Exactly, unless it has all been messed up with moving around stands before hand to behind the other goal.

It would be a shame to have huge gaps when they could be sold and I am pretty sure CCFC will be doing everything they can to sell more tickets, no brainer isn't it?

No queuing for me. Too far to travel on the off chance. I need to be in a disabled area so simply cannot take the chance.

Piss ups and brewery's come to mind

Same here WSB. What tickets that are left on Friday will be a free-for-all. Website will be down again no doubt and 4 hr queues at the store like before. A 280 mile round trip on the off chance of getting in holds little attraction right now.

Has anyone who renewed their seat for Friday from being a season ticket holder at the Ricoh in 2012/2013 had to email the club previously before popping down to renew?

Maybe the fact West mid police handed over
To Northampton police has a bearing on the hold up , after all its a bit of a money chest to whoever polices the game.
