No, they restricted their question somewhat, I'm saying ask a much broader question about ANY development and then ask follow up questions to narrow down the possibilities.

If I remember right, fisher also said it be part of a shopping Centre complex? So maybe the question should be has anybody inquired about building a shopping complex / mall ?

All sisu have done is say anything you can do we can do better. They've looked at what is at the ricoh, the surrounding areas and what's planned/suggested for the remaining land then said "we can do that". It was the same with the epetition. PWKH said he'd signed it so sisu had to say so what, Tim and Mark have both signed it.

Yeah, he could be bullshitting about details like that, the only way is to keep questions open, be specific about shopping and you exclude warehouse, light industrial, transport etc etc. any of which could be the plausible.

Next time do a FOI about discussions on ANY development by ANY party over (say) 10 acres and try to get a list.. that might narrow the possible areas down.
Unless N&B want to claim they can't talk about anything.. which they may.

It's kind of irrelevant for the other organisations as they have all answered the questions and denied talks.

I suspect Nuneaton and Bedworth would come back with the same "public interest" defence no matter what we asked.

For clarity, the Telegraph questions were non-specific about organisations to avoid any "commercially sensitive" responses. We simply asked if there had been any discussions / if they had been made aware of any plans for a large sporting stadia in their respective areas.

As I said before, the organisations could refuse to answer some of the questions. Only N&B has. Read into that what you will.
