A real shocker was that Trevor Peake and Steve Bruce managed to get a grand total of zero caps yet Michael Ricketts and Dave Nugent got a cap each

Although he was class, and should have got more recognition, I can understand Peake not getting a cap...he played for cov for starters. I’d be tempted to say that from that era Gynn could have been called up too. I’m pretty sure nick Pickering got a cap...maybe before he joined us?
Bruce on the other hand, I always thought it odd that he didn’t get a call up. He must have won shed loads at Utd (was he their captain?) and yet Pallister regularly got selected.
