Thanks CJ. No surprises.

We all know a new stadium isn't happening so why we still go on about it and or consider it an option I don't know.

RFC I'm sure will find a way to conclude this is sisu doing their work but he baffles most.

It's clearly obvious the best most realistic option is a long term rent deal at the Ricoh based on league etc and work on relations and income streams and go from there.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the big news on the new ground to be expected in the new year that gave RFC a wide on?

I'm surprised that you still doubt anything SISU say. When was the last time they said or did anything that was either stupid or did not happened?

Strangely they are the most truthful people in football when it suits

To be fair all fisher needs to do is attend a sky blue trust meeting and if a question is asked if the stadium will be built and he says yes that's evidence it really is happening.

I'd believe him so long as he didn't mention 3 or weeks in his confirmation.

Your missing my point. Steve Brown said on here that Eastwood said that they approached the council first and not the other way round. That proved it to be true.

So when Honest Tim gets the chance and says it Steve no doubt will say its true?

How the fcuk is anyone supposed to know. Same as anything with him or anyone else from SISU I'll believe it when I see it so there is no way of knowing with this statement. IMO though it sounded like sour grapes to me, nothing more and nothing less.

I personally don't believe a thing any party in this says, it's all spun to shit. The real damage is where people are like "Yes but wasps said there is no pr machine, while they were attending a fans meeting for a football team....doing PR" because he said so, whereas Tim Fisher opens his mouth and its bollocks. Unless we can use what Fisher says in our favour then it is gospel.

Whereas if you treat everything everybody says as bollocks until proven true it is easier.

I look forward the The Telegraph getting a response from Fisher on this. Have Sisu been lying to Cov fans and the people of Coventry for years on this or not?

Shall we think about it?

5.5m for the lease and take over a 14m loan for the Ricoh arena or build a stadium much smaller and without much chance of making money from it whilst it will be outside Coventry and struggle to get it built for 20m.

I say he was lying unless there is no thoughts of building a stadium and they wanted the Ricoh for nothing. And this means they didn't want to pay for it like Wasps did. But then he is still lying about the new stadium.

No I'm not missing your point has mr eastwoods word been quetioned the has he told us lies that we know of?
Sorry but we were told that they had been in touch with the highways agency acording to the foia they haven't so who should I believe?
funny how people always try to shift the conversation when criticising Sisu is Concerned.
What has the original thread got to do with the wasps and anything they may have said?

There is also another scenario. Where people who have to make massive financial decisions. May not personally completely believe what SISU say about a new stadium. However when it come to making such massive decisions they can't really base them on 'well I didn't really believe them'
Then there is also the fact most of us did not believe a ground share was going to happen. Then it did.

Cant possibly reply that due to confidential restraints.
What will be will be they should just come out and tell us where it is likely to be.
Can't be that good of a location or I'm sure someone else would have snapped it up already.

If this is the title of the next story they publish thin it looks like a good one if you ask me.

So how does Mr Fisher square that with reporting in a recent SCG conference call he had met with the Highways Agency.

Steve.B50 said:
He was asked a question about new stadium, said he would have news in New Year, all he added was they have met with Highways Agency.
Nothing new or solid was mentioned, the main discussions was the legal situation as stated by Jan.

The Telegraph and / or Trust should send a (polite!) open letter to SISU and request that an independent person be shown all the information on the new ground. They can sign confidentiality agreements and won't share any details but can simply report back if they believe anything is actually happening or not.
