Sure there will be many willing to lend a hand on here if it is for the good of the club. Main objective should be to achieve more honesty and openness from the board.

Last time I saw him, he was canvassing opinion on forming just such a group...he left SOC because it had become explicitly anti-Sisu, so he wanted to launch a new group that was/is explicitly neutral

he was here just 6 days ago giving us some info. He also logs in most days too, just to see what's going on in the sky blue fans world. To be fair, he probably has a lot on at the moment.

Does anyone know who I should contact as i am interested in running this new supporters group. What I aim to do once it is set up is siphon off funds, sell its assets then liquidate it. My name is joy sepella.

Sorry...but I think Jan is deluded. Does he really think that SISU gives a rat's ass about what the fans think. Fisher is, in my opinion, using this strategy of opening talks to try and 'use' fans for SISU's own purpose.....not CCFC and certainly not the fans. Jan would be better off trying to get 10,000 fans to buy shares of the Supporters Trust at a grand each to buy the club for 10 million, and get shot of SISU. Maybe even form a joint venture with Hoff.

Just to check, you think someone trying to form a fan representative voice is deluded, but then suggest he tries to find ten thousand people willing to throw £1000 in?

From an average crowd of 14000 including away fans and children.

Really good idea. People need to realise we can't just expect SISU to sell up immediately, they also need to realise we can't take part in scheme such as moving grounds or buying the club ourselves. We need to have discussions with the owners and try to put our views across that way.

Good idea in principle. However SISU only seem to take an interest in what the fans think when their being made to look stupid on national telly or earlier in the season when fans were tumbling down the stairs in a grapple with the Goon squad & it being reported in the newspapers.
Struggle to see why they'd pay anything other than lip service to any supporters group. I mean does that supporters consultative thing still happen???

I fully support the initiative, well done jan for keeping at it. We have all been crying out for better communication and if this helps then great.

Just two riders to that
1) These things have a habit of becoming blurred and lines crossed..... leading to all sorts of accusations. I am sure Jan & co have a handle on that and you cant please all of the fans all of the time. As i understand it this is a platform for the fans to communicate effectively with the club, working with but not for the club
2) I agree that communication is all important, my only concern is value of any communication received from the club - past experience has me wary. But someone has to make the first move as they say.

Hopefully it will improve the link between Fans and Club

As far as I know, the supporters' consultative group is still going. Not sure about the Sky Blue Trust itself, or about SOC?? There are probably a few more fans' groups dotted around, not to mention the London supporters club, Welsh supporters club and Sky Blues International. How many more fans groups do we really need?

Oh sorry forgot.......we don't have 10,000 supporters who could come up with a grand. Yet we had how many.......8,000 or so willing to buy a season ticket for 300 plus. A three year investment at that rate and the supporters own the club.....then ....ah forget it. I still stand by my comment that SISU will have ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION of listening to, or acting upon anyone outside of SISU. Waste of time if you ask me!

What is the harm in talking to the club. Putting our point of view across and trying to improve communication with the fans?

Whilst they are all we have got we need to work with them. I don't want them here but they are, and there are currently no alternatives. So we just have to deal with it and hope that somehow they come good.

Right so we buy the club and then we either let Hoffman's investors (another hedge fund probably) take control or all 10,000 of us sit on the board and then we what pay another £500 each a year to cover the losses? Yes great strategy..:facepalm::facepalm:

People pay for a season ticket to watch their team, they're not donating to the club with access to football matches being a neat bonus. The two really don't compare at all.

I don't think egastap has really thought his "strategy" through.

You can't make deals with people like Tim Fisher, they make you feel important offer a bit of an olive branch but shaft you any which way they can. That Jan bloke had one aim while he was in that SOC crowd and that was to be the one at the top table. We need SISU out not talking to look at the facts, relegated, transfer embargo, desperayely need players, loss of revenue, unable to sign players, no money coming in, no real business plan going forward. I suggest Jan if you have to talk to Fisher talk about that lot, but you won't i suspect you will be running around trying to reduce the rent or something.

Think you are twisting what I'm saying a little. I don't like SISU, they have royally fucked us over. But people have complained of a lack of communication. Now someone is trying to open up lines of communication and being criticised before he has even had a chance to start. I'm not really surprised. It's what a number of people on here do about anything related to the club these days.

Just give the guy a chance. Criticise if he doesn't deliver.

And that's without paying off any debt, and money to improve the squad.

Can all the people who are criticising Jan before he has even started tell us what they are trying to do to help.

He is definitely not in it only for himself, like all of us he has a genuine motive for change, however i believe his way will produce nothing, in fact IMO Fisher is taking the piss. but then i have to ask what way will achieve something and in simple terms i don't know. Until we have genuine big hitters coming out in the press and seriously questioning Fisher, sisu etc putting them on the spot we can't do much.
