coventrycc council new cabinet decided today includes ex-leader John Mutton back as finance chief. Couns Maton & Ruane retain cabinet posts
Wonder how this lot will get on. Seems very much a case of going backwards if old members have been reinstated albeit different positions, or retaining their seats?

What is " back as finance chief "? Was he that at sometime before? Or is he back, as finance chief - as opposed to " leader "? How old is he? Will Steve West report to him? I would have thought it would be a good time for him to start taking a back seat. Has he experience in finance ( apart from running a milk round )?

Well, at least whilst Maton's at education he can teach the importance of Human/natural Rights when linked with the Second Treatise of Government to Gannon. I dread to think how he's going to scrutinise health.
Hell, Lucas can learn a thing or two about tyranny as well.
So far the new leader has announced there will be no consultation on the combined authority despite the House of Lords stating the consultation was inadequate. And today the meeting to look into Reeves 2 days a week, which has now been revealed to actually be 3 days a week, working for the combined authority and the appointment of a temporary replacement has been cancelled.
